YFA Trade Show 2015, which was held over four days from Dec 14-17, 2015 at the NSIC Exhibition Centre in New Delhi saw over 7,477 buyers visiting the trade show to see innovative and value-added fibres, yarns, fabrics and garment accessories. The fair was inaugurated by Shri. Santosh Kumar Gangwar, Union Minister of State for Textiles, Govt. of India. Gracing the event Shri. YFA Trade Show 2015, which

was held over four days from Dec

14-17, 2015 at the NSIC Exhibition

Centre in New Delhi saw over 7,477

buyers visiting the trade show to

see innovative and value-added

fibres, yarns, fabrics and garment

accessories.

The fair was inaugurated by Shri. Santosh Kumar Gangwar,

Union Minister of State for Textiles, Govt. of India. Gracing the

event Shri. Santosh Kumar Gangwar said, “YFA Trade Show

2015 has done a great job by bringing entire textile value

chain ( fiber, yarns, fabric, accessories ) under one roof, this fair

will be very helpful in growing of textile sector in this part of

the country.” Praising the efforts of the organizers, he said “My

doors are always open for organizers with new ideas like this for

the upliftment of textile and apparel industry in India.” Using

the YFA Trade Show platform, Shri. Santosh Kumar Gangwar also

announced the new textile policy that would be revealed in a

fortnights time along with the updated version of TUFS.

Silk Mills and many others. With the total count of exhibitors

reaching around 100, YFA Trade Show’s first edition (2015) was

undoubtly a smashing hit.

These companies exhibited and a few even launched the

most innovative and latest developments in value-added

textile products like speciality fibres, multifunctional yarns,

mélange yarns, spandex yarn, embroidery yarn, bamboo fabrics,

modal fabrics, metal garment accessories and various other

garment accessories.

Among the visitors who visited YFA Trade Show 2015 were

decision makers like Sourcing Head’s, Purchase Manager’s,

Head Merchandiser’s, Sales Head’s, Country Manager’s from

composite mills, spinning mills, knitters, weavers, yarn agents,

importers, exporters, buying houses, designers, retail chains, etc.

We are showcasing organic, BCI, Fairtrade, slub and various other

yarns and fabrics and here to promote our products among new buyers. So far, it has been good as all the visitors who have visited our stall are relevant and genuine, as we have also been able to make new contacts and hope to convert them in to business in the near future and we would definitely come back for the next edition.

Although the show has been held for the first time, we are very satisfied with our presence as on the second day, we did not have time for lunch. We met many new buyers most of them who were genuine and came from as far as Bangalore and Tirupur. Additionally, we also met our old buyers, with whom we stand a chance of reviving business. We will return next year with a bigger stall.

We do not look for large footfalls, but quality buyers when exhibiting at a fair and YFA Trade Show 2015 has met our expectations since we have had genuine buyers visiting our show. We will definitely return for the 2016 edition of YFA Trade Show.

We are basically manufacturers of acrylic

and acrylic blended yarns which find applications in sweater and hand knitting applications. We also export a good volume of hand knitting yarns. Many of the big exporters and brands like Wills Lifestyle and Orient Craft use our yarns. We have received an unexpected response to our products at the show. Earlier, we used to concentrate on knitting sector only, but here at the show, we have received inquiries from even the embroidery, weaving and also carpet sector, who came from as far as Meerut. Going by our experience, we will surely come back for the next edition.

and terry towels and are showing the same here. Since this is the first kind of show in Delhi, we decided to participate and increase our network. Our experience has been very good at the YFA Trade Show as we have been kept busy and met new buyers. However, we would suggest that the next show should be organised in the second half of the week.

We are satisfied with our participation at the show and will definitely return for the next show in 2016.

The show has been good for us as we received a lot of enquiries from agents and we hope to turn a few of them positive in the near future. We feel that our objective has been met by participating at YFA Trade Show.

Overall it has been a good show for us and hopefully we will return to YFA 2016 with a bigger stall.

I am satisfied with the way the show has been organised. I would suggest that the next show should not be organised beginning from Monday.

Our experience has been good as the crowd here is well filtered and we have had a good number of buyers visiting our stall, which is a good experience and hope to do business with a few and we look forward to returning next year too.

We have facilities which include knitting, dyeing and printing and are the only company in the Delhi region

who have printing machines for knits. We have received good response from many buying houses and exporters, who include New Times, Indospan, etc. Most of the buyers who came to our stall were genuine as a few of them even selected a few of our qualities and we expect to begin deliveries in a few weeks time. We are very happy with our participation and we will return for the next edition where we hope to see more exhibitors and also international buyers.

Soundararaja Mills to return to YFA Trade Show 2016 with a

We are showing various yarn blends like modal-viscose,

linen-viscose, cotton-linen, cotton-modal, bamboo-modal, etc and we are here at YFA Trade show to promote these value-added yarns. We have had good results by participating in this show and have had around 250 buyers visiting our stall in the last 3 days, out of which, we hope to do business with around 50. For the next edition, we will return with a bigger stall.

software for the textile industry. Our expectations were much higher than the number of visitors we have received at the show, nor did we find international buyers. We feel marketing needs to be done more. Since the Northern regions including cities like Jaipur are hubs for apparel production, we would have expected more visitors.

A concentrated show for fabrics and accessories is being held for the first time in this region, so in that regard, it is a very good attempt. We have had a good

number of quality visitors coming to our stall even on the last day. We were able to meet atleast 80 per cent of the buyers whom we wanted to meet by participating at the show. Our experience has been very good and we are almost satisfied with our participation. We also met a good number of new buyers who came from Ludhiana, Chennai, Coimbatore, Tirupur, Jaipur, Mumbai and off course Delhi. We would like to see more exhibitors participating for the next edition and a little bit more of marketing.

The organisers should have organised buses from points where exporters are concentrated.

A few of them also wanted customised products. Overall we are very happy with the contacts we have made over here.

We are exhibiting hotfix stones which are used as patches on garments as well as laces, metal id’s, many of which are also imported from China. We are here

at the show so that we can meet the end users directly, so that our products become cheaper for these users. The layout of the exhibition as well as the way it has been organised has been very good. We also met many new buyers and anticipate that we will be able to generate good business from those who visited our stall in the near future.

This is very good. There are quality suppliers altogether. Previously

during fairs, capital intensiveness used to get too much. Now we can find our type of suppliers, so we get just what we want. Previously, usually extra

material used to get way too much, we couldn`t find what we want. Today 90-95% of things are of our use, so it feels good.

the first time, big players in yarns and fabrics, particularly suppliers of fancy yarns were missing. We met a couple of yarn suppliers, but are not sure of the developments in the future.
