• Kindergarten through Fifth grade students get to select books, learn the library program, have story time, and get comfortable with using the library.
What is working:
Through the school library program students learn to select books and be responsible for the care of the books they borrow.
Through the student’s selection of books, the children are encouraged to read by themselves.
What is working:
Librarian and students visit
websites to search for
reading level books, hear
stories, and research
