innovative

creates a degree of cognitive dis

sonance

by wo

king

in

unfamiliar

contexts.

will emerge,

at times from the

innovators themselves.

Such

writ

ings

have

appeared

in j

ournals

news media

or even

court proceed

ings where

creative

nnovations

motivated the

art

st to

assume roles

not yet

san

ctioned by his

contem

porary

society.
