He who has received a gift from God, and is ungrateful for it, is already on the way to losing it.
—St. Peter of Damaskos
Maybe you have been away for a while, or have been going to church somewhere else, and maybe you have felt a little self-conscious about coming back to St. Michael Parish, and may-be you are worried about what people will say?
“Well forget all that, and come back, we have missed you here at the parish and we are ea-
ger to welcome you home, we are more vibrant and energetic together.”
There are no obstacles that can’t be overcome, and hurts that can’t be healed. The Lord is Gra-
cious and kind and on Sunday November 8 at 3 pm, we cordially invite you to come back to St.
Michael Ukrainian Catholic Church and celebrate our special Feast Day (Praznik) Divine Litur-
gy and feel welcomed, with no strings attached. Metropolitan Lawrence will be our special guest
and a savory mouthwatering meal is planned for after the Liturgy. You need to reserve tickets for
the meal part so that we can accommodate all our guests. So join us on this special day to renew
our relationship with a special church and a wonderful community. We look forward to seeing
you soon. Please share this message with your family, friends and neighbors. Help us celebrate our
Parish Praznik and make everyone welcome. -Peace, Fr. Mark
