Most GCSE equivalents axed from school league tablesHello my name is Dennis Daley and we day we are going to talk about the new Proposal that the Minister

Prof Alison Wolf have broth in that will cut the value of the GCSE levels that you so say you get 4 GCSEs for ict now they are trying to do it so the is now only 2 The government says this has created "perverse incentives" for schools to offer exams that boost their league table position. The move could make schools less likely to continue to offer such qualifications, and the government has

Page 4: FE Magazine first edition

instructed them to wait for its final list before changing their timetables for September 2012.This mean that less student will want to go to school/collage because of the new GESE level that is coming in it is a bad idea becomes i think we want to go to collage to get a qualification in like say cooking and ice and with this new system it will mean you are getting less qualification in GCSEs so like if you are sitting a test and you pass it now you will get 5 GESEs and in a few months when this new system comes in you will only get 2 i mean we all want to get a job so we can support our family who we live with and it will hit all the young student who are still at school hard like if you are good at math so in the years to come as we get older we will not have the right qualifications to get a good job all because of this new system if i was her i would keep it as it is now it is doing a good job with the system we have now like it has been doing for some years now

Hello my name is Dennis and today we are going to talk about

Michael Gove’s school holidays proposal he is planning to make the school day longer by added 4 more hours to the school day 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon so if it does go ahead we would start at 7.30am and end at 5.30pm his proposal is a appalling why well let think about it do you want to come to school for 4 more hours a day no we do not we come to school enough now as it is now we come to school from 09.00 and end at 15.30 that mean we come to school 7 hours a day and he wants us to come to school 11 hours a day and here the best of it he want us to come to school on a Saturday to learn more well you do what i say to no we will not

Page 6: FE Magazine first edition

come to school on a Saturdays we come to school enough Monday to Friday we do not need to come to school for 1 ore day and it is time we need with our families and with our mates who we play with out of school and he was all so proposing that we have shorter holidays we have 6 weeks off in the summer and he want to cut them down to 4 weeks i say no we need the time off from school so we can get away from school so can have a fun time like if you want to go away for a few weeks say to Spain and he this comes in you can’t go to Spain for a full 6 weeks with your families you can only go away for 4 weeks and stay in school more if this come on to our school you know what we all the schools in English should do first type letters to him telling him how his proposal is a appalling than do a walk out 24 hours walk out to see what he turns around than and say and is this what you want to see Michael kid exhausted being made to stay in school 4 more hours a day and a full day on the weekend

Hello my name dennis i am going to tell you about the new Ofsted chief Michael Wilshaw he is years of age

Page 10: FE Magazine first edition

Sir Michael Wilshaw took up his post as chief inspector of schools in England last week

In a announced made by the Ofsted chief Michael Wilshaw

Schools in England will face no-notice inspections from this autumn, the new head of Ofsted has announced, so that inspectors can see classrooms "as they really are".

But Sir Michael, who took up his chief inspector post last week, said inspections taking place without notice provided an opportunity for inspectors "to do what's really important - going in and inspecting quality, particularly teaching".

Page 11: FE Magazine first edition

He added: "Ofsted has been moving towards a position of unannounced school inspection over a period of years. "I believe the time is now right for us to take that final step and make sure that for every school we visit inspectors are seeing schools as they really are in the corridors, classrooms and staff room."Currently schools receive two days' notice.Over the past 18 months, Ofsted carried out 1,500 no-notice inspections of schools causing concern. This included a pilot of unannounced visits to schools where there were issues concerning behaviour.Questions about the new Schools face no-notice Ofsted inspections

Q what do i thank about it

A well i think that this is a bad think he has done to the school become of that he now can just turn

Page 12: FE Magazine first edition

up at any school and at anytime and do a full inspection with out no notice at all head teachers shadow have the right to no when Ofsted are going to turn up to thir school to do a school inspection so than the head teacher can tell the staff that they have got a inspection

I can not think this is a good idea become this is a bad thing that he has done and it will soon turn around to how it was before the way it shadow oways be before he decided to do this

Ralph LaurenBorn Ralph Lifshitz in the Bronx, New York, Ralph Lauren was fashion aware at a very early age. By spending his hard-earned pocket money on expensive suits, Lauren became the best dressed 12-year-old in his neighbourhood. It wasn’t long before the young entrepreneur left his middle class Jewish roots behind him to set out on a quest to establish his very own fashion empire.

Rather than study design, he completed most of a business degree and learned his trade through evening jobs. While working at one of these jobs, he began designing wide ties and with a $50,000 loan, Lauren founded the company Polo Fashions in 1968.

Calvin KleinFashion designer Calvin Klein is particularly known for his jeans and and for his many provocative underwear advertisements. Klein graduated from New York's Fashion Institute of Technology in 1964 and formed his own company; he became a household name during the designer jeans boom of the late 1970s. His name-brand underwear was a hit in the 1980s, helped along by billboards and print ads featuring nearly-naked models in exotic poses. The ads made stars of several models, including Kate Moss, Mark Wahlberg and Christy Turlington. Klein later branched into other products, most notably the fragrance Obsession. In 2002 his company was acquired by the Phillips-Van Heusen Corporation.

Tommy Hilfiger Hilfiger was born in Elmira, New York. The second of nine children, he grew up in an Irish-American family; he claims direct descendence from Scottish poet Robert Burns.[2] His parents originally intended for him to be an engineer. He attended Elmira Free Academy for high school. He also attended GST BOCES Bush Campus in Elmira, New York for Fashion Design. Rather than furthering his education, he started to work in retail at the age of 18.

Page 20: FE Magazine first edition

Hilfiger would go to New York City to buy jeans and bell-bottom pants, which he customized and resold at a local downtown Elmira store, Brown's.

He later opened his own store, named The People's Place, around the block in downtown Elmira. Over the years, a number of stores closed in downtown Elmira as shopping traffic shifted to the new Arnot Mall in Horseheads, New York. After seven years, The People's Place went bankrupt, when Hilfiger was 25. The site of the original store has since been demolished to make room for First Arena, home of the Elmira Jackals Hockey team.

Tommy HilfigerAfter turning to the design of clothing by designing for the rest of his stores in upstate New York, Hilfiger moved to New York City with his now estranged wife, Susie. Although he was offered design assistant positions with designers Calvin Klein and Perry Ellis, and was broke, he turned them both down with greater plans in mind.

In 1984, he founded the Tommy Hilfiger Corporation, (NYSE:TOM), with support from The Murjani Group, which went public in 1992, introducing his signature menswear collection. By 2004 the company had 5,400 employees and revenues in excess of $1.8 billion. Hilfiger was named Menswear Designer of the Year by the Council of Fashion Designers of America in 1995.

In 1998, Hilfiger gave singer Aaliyah her endorsement deal, in which he honored her in his Summer 1998 fashion show in Jamaica.

Largely due to declining sales, in 2006, Tommy Hilfiger sold his company for $1.6 billion, or $16.80 a share, to Apax Partners, a private investment company.

In March 2010, Phillips-Van Heusen, owner of Calvin Klein, bought the Tommy Hilfiger Corporation for $3 billion.

Call of Duty modern warfare 3 by T. Tomlinson

This game is a war games set in the Second World War you are a secret agent. You have

to kill the bad guys and not be killed. The guns are realistic and accurate. You can go in tanks

to blow the other tanks up.

The scenery is really realistic, the graphics are great. It is really addictive. I spent hours on it.

The negatives are it is too short and very expensive. I love this game; it is one of the

best I have played.

Page 29: FE Magazine first edition
