* Born 1928 as Antoine Domino in New Orleans

* 1956 “Blueberry Hill” Song went to #2 on the charts, Fats Dominos highest charting song

* Became famous for his distinctive “triplet feel” in his

piano playing

* At 14, he left school, worked during the day and at night he played

the nightclubs

* Still lives in New Orleans, however his

home was destroyed by Hurricane Katrina

* Being from New Orleans, his first

language was french
