Skinny Vic's is a family-owned diner and coffee stop which offers great food with a fun atmosphere. They serve breakfast and lunch daily, including smoothies, specialty coffees and a full bar. It is locat-ed at 335 E. Washington St., Slinger, and its hours are from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.

It started in 1997, when Vicki Lehnerz had dinner at The Barley Pop Pub in Germantown and thoughtit looked like a fun place to work. She asked if they were hiring and ended up working there for 14years. She fell in love with the food and hospitality industry when she realized that she could changelives by serving food and drink.

Vicki worked her way into management and worked closely alongside the part owner and GeneralManager. When she decided to sell her part of the business, all of the managers went out for a last"hurrah" to celebrate their times together.

They ended up going to a place called Fat Charlies on Hwy. 175 in Richfield. Across the street fromFat Charlies is a beautiful brick building with great big windows in the front (It happened to be forsale at the time). Vicki made mention about what a great storefront it would make.

A friend commented, "You could open Skinny Vic's across the street from Fat Charlies." Theylaughed. It was then that Skinny Vic's was born. Now six year's later Vicki wouldn't name her ownbusiness anything BUT Skinny Vic's.

Skinny Vic's is about sharing stories and making memories. It's about Vicki’s story and how she gothere. She is very much looking forward to share more about her, and to learn more about you as well.Thank you.Vicki is waiting to meet you.
