Greetings from Ann & NatSummer ending is always bittersweet especially when our summer was such an exceptional one. Watching our girls grow both athletically and emotionally is always a thrill beyond the norm.Fall brings very busy times for us with a myriad of meetings with new and potential Robindel families. Building our 2018 nation, of sorts, is always an exciting time.Feel free to contact us in the upcoming months with any questions you may have about your daughter’s 2017 progress or any thoughts or queries about summer 2018.

& Ross Green got engaged on July 15, 2017. They were
supposed to be going to brunch with his boss when they got a call canceling that date. They
headed home to see their friends and get ready for Jordan’s
birthday party (that night) and as they were pulling into
the driveway of their house he proposed. A week later Jordan celebrated at Robindel with her bunk mates Ali Horowitz, Alex
Rosen and Nikki Mendel.
Suzy Appel (Juniper 2005) & Billy Duffy got engaged on May 30, 2017
on the Charles Bridge in Prague. They met when they were students
at Tulane University in New Orleans. Suzy and Billy celebrated their engagement in The Hamptons
with CR friends Amanda Bilski and Jordan Carson.
Janie Marcus (Juniper 2001) & Casey Boyle got married on September
9, 2017 surrounded by family and friends at Camp Timber Tops in the Poconos. They enjoyed a weekend of
camp activities like rock climbing, kayaking and roasting marshmallows. CR friends included Julie (Perilstein)
Mozes, Melanie (Glickman) Meer, Alex (Adelson) Rubinstein and Sam (Kessler) Weisberg who all stayed in cabins for the weekend and were the
“ultimate campers.”
Jessica Feldesman (Juniper 2002) and
Daniel Massarky got married on
September 16, 2017 at Seawane Country Club in Hewlett Harbor, NY. The two met while they
were students at Syracuse University.
CR friends Jen Gindin, Ilana Kamens and
Samantha Engel joined in the celebration.
Ashley (McCall) Priem (CR Staff 2006-2010) and her husband Matt
welcomed baby boy Dexter Matthew on June 7, 2017. He weighed 8 lbs
5oz and was 21 3/4’’ long. CR Staff Anne
Schleisman came to visit!
Michelle Manket (Juniper 2003) and Josh Rogol got married in Red Hook, Brooklyn on September 2, 2017. There were many Robindel friends and family there to celebrate including Michelle’s Mom (Nancy Adler), Aunts (Beth & Cathy Adler), Sister (Cara Manket) and friends Maddie, Caryn and Melissa Wasser.
Becky (Hafele) Fricke (CR Staff 2009-2010) and her
husband Dan welcomed Jacob Christopher on
August 26, 2017. He weighed 7lb 2oz and was
21 inches long.
Lisa Zuckerwise Levy (Juniper 1998, CR Doctor
2015) and her husband Brian welcomed baby boy Casey
Evans on June 12, 2017. Their daughter Adrienne is
happy to be a big sister.
Lauren Fisher (Juniper 2004) and Max Kayen got married on July 30, 2017. They met when they were students at Cornell 7 years ago. CR friends at the wedding included Alex Rosen
and Ali Horowitz.
Emily Lerman (Juniper 1997) and Eric Taylor got married on June 17, 2017 at The Salamander Resort and Spa in Middleburg, Virginia. Camp-like weekend activities included a BBQ dinner in a horse
barn, late night s’mores by the fire pit, swimming, lawn games, zip lining and horseback riding. It was a weekend full of lots of love, LOTS of laughter, amazing family and the best of friends.
Emily is pictured above with her husband Eric, sister Stephanie (Juniper 1995) and CR friend Michelle Bagliebter. Other CR friends present included Holly and Abby Leber.
Ashley Kanak & BillyCopeland (CR Staff 2012-2015) got married on June 3, 2017 at
Unicoi State Park in Helen, Georgia. CR friends included Emma Hunter, Bridget Tonne, Sarah Long, Isabella
Toledo, Emma Hope, Mitchell Kanak, Brock Uhlman, Matt Davidson-Brett
and Valentina Toledo.

Michelle Bagliebter (Juniper 1997, CR Staff 2001-2002), Sara Baudry (CR Staff 2000-2003, 2006-2008) and big brother Owen welcomed baby boys Adam Bagliebter and David Lincoln on May 11, 2017.
Adam weighed 7lb 12oz and David weighed 8lb 9oz. The twins were born one day after their older brother Owen turned 2 years old!
Jolly Corley was selected as a recipient of the 2017 YWCA Mankato Volunteer of the Year Award. Each year, nominations are accepted for individuals committed to the YWCA Mankato mission of eliminating racism, empowering women and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all. Jolly was specifically nominated for her work in Women & Girls’ Programming. She created Girls & GEARS, a new biking program for girls in grades 6-8, introducing girls to various
types of cycling while building confidence and self-esteem. She also helps to plan the Girls on the Run 5k event and serves on the
Women’s Leadership Conference committee.
Claire Moore (CR Staff 2010-2012) got engaged to John Houghton on June 3, 2017. The two met on a ski trip in
Lake Placid. John grew up in the town where Claire moved for her teaching job and they have never spent time apart since meeting. They got engaged at the top of White Face
Mountain in Lake Placid where John proposed with a ring he designed using his Mom’s diamonds. They are planning a
September 2018 wedding at a barn in Hudson, NY.
