    The Kettle Moraine Youth String Orchestra is a chamber orchestra for youth string players. The goal of this group is to provide an outletfor string players to grow to their ultimate potential which in return results in musical excellence. Students are introduced to a varietyof music and musical styles. The expectation that all students push themselves is essential to reaching musical excellence as an ensemble.Pt sting is open to grades 5-8, currently enrolled in school orchestra or study with a private instructor, entering Suzuki Book 2or equivalent. The Schauer School of Dance has one recital each May held in the Ruth A. Knoll Theater. Students alsohave the opportunity to perform and take master classes with visiting companies that are part of the Schauer Centers Mainstage Series.The Fall session students can work with The Chicago Festival Ballet in The Nutcrackerand in a master class, December 3.

    Ag:6-12Kids have a unique connection to clay.Starting early from mud pies to sandcastles, kids explore shape, texture, andform molded from earth. This four weekcourse will allow students to develop theirconnection to clay through exploration of

    various hand-building techniques. Studentswill create, glaze, and nish pinch pots, coilpots, and slab pieces that are functional,

    sculptural, or both. No experience needed.

    extraordinarily bold colors. Heis most well known for his mixedmedia collages that arranged boldly

    colored paper cut outs into strikingcompositions. In this workshopstudents will learn about Matisses

    unique style and its inuence on arthistory as well as create their ownpiece in the style of Henri Matisse.

    Dadin f rgitatin:It is suggested that studentsregister at least two weeks prior to the start date for anygiven program. A deadline of one week must be adhered to.Enrollment levels are evaluated at this time and class will be

    cancelled if minimum enrollment isnt met.

    rfund Pi: Notication of withdrawal and request forrefunds must be submitted in writing to the Schauer Center.A 50% refund of the tuition in the form of a gift certicatewill be in effect through the second class/rehearsal. After thesecond class, NO REFUNDS will be offered.

    Pamnt Pan: Payment plans may be arranged withthe Schauer Center for any class with a tuition fee of $100or more.     Waiting Aa Pi:Due to the numerous activities,event set-up, and valuable artwork on display, the SchauerCenter prohibits parents from waiting in the Gallery (secondoor) after dropping children off for CSA class(es). If a parentchooses to stay on premises for the duration of a childs class,the Schauer Center requests that parents wait on the lowerlobby level.

    The Schauer Centers Education & Inspiration Fundisavailable to foster educational and outreach efforts,specically related to its Community School of the
