God Dwells With His People
A Journey through the Book of Exodus
Beginning Sunday, September 8 we will begin a sermon series through the sec-ond book of the Bible, Exodus. This great book of Israel’s history begins with God’s
people under severe oppression in Egypt. About 400 years after the Lord had led a small family to the bountiful land of Egypt, and the region of Goshen, Joseph was forgotten, and the people grew from a family to a large nation. God’s purposes and promises were not for-
gotten, and He provided a deliverer, Moses. God leads His people out of slavery into the wilder-ness, and He speaks through Moses, giving His people the law and the tabernacle. Through this, He established His people, confirmed the covenant promises again and promised rest. He also
dwelt with the people, and they feared Him. The tabernacle shows us our separation from God and our need for an intercessor in order to approach and dwell with our Holy God…This great book points to Christ who rescues us from the slavery of sin, reconciles us to God, so that God
dwells with us, and we are gifted for ministry in His name to radiate the glory of God to the world around us, looking forward to our promised rest.
Plan to join us every Sunday throughout this series exploring God’s relationship with His people!

Romans
Romans - "The Beauty & Glory of Our Salvation" - We often think the glory of our salvation is that we are saved from hell. However, the book of Romans makes it clear...Our salvation glorifies God and God alone. Although we benefit greatly from God's grace, it's not about us. Join us each week as we study Romans, Paul's deep and wide explanation of the purpose and glory of God's salvation plan found in the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

VBS 2019
Praise the Lord for the opportunity to touch many children’s lives with the Good News of Christ and God’s free gift of salvation. Our mission’s opportunity this year went to LCMI who are reaching children through Christian camping in India and Nepal. The cost for a child to attend the camp is $60. Our kids
raised $750 along with a generous donor matching their offering for a total of $1500 to send a total of 25 kids to camp.
VBS Praise Highlights –
Over 50 volunteers gave countless hours of preparation
before and during VBS week.
75 children attended from the community and Faith BFC including 10 friends.
During the week the kids discovered that, no matter where we live, what shade of skin we have, or what language we speak, we are all part of the same
race—the human race—and all part of the same family from Adam and Eve.
Thanks to the drama, set and music teams for many long hours of preparation! Thanks to everyone who generously baked and donated snacks for the week!
HOPE YOU CAN JOIN US NEXT YEAR FOR VBS - JUNE 2020!
Please start praying on how you can get involved in VBS. Any questions contact Toni Alderfer, VBS Director at [email protected]
VBS 2020 Planning will start in February.
Outreach Team/Evangelism Ministry
Community Prayer Outreach
Last year, we reached out to our neighbors through a simple gesture of bottle of water with a packet of lem-
onade mix and an offer to pray with them and for them. We delivered water bottles and prayer cards one week and collected cards the following week.
Many of our neighbors really appreciated this simple act of love and concern. Last year, we only connected
with one of our surrounding neighborhoods. This year, our goal is to minister to all the neighborhoods
surrounding the church. We need you!
