Faith garden Dec 2012 update
Our most recent trip to the Faith Garden Hostel was from 20 to 25 October 2012. This time, wealso visited the home village of some of our hostel students and also see some of the harvestingin action in their harvesting field.
Here are some updates on the Hostel:
Of the pioneer batch of 10 students, 9 have successfully made it to the local universities. InApril 2012, with the help of some of our sponsors, we have dispatched a sum of money to helpthese 9 students subsidize part of their school fees. These 9 students have now finished theirfirst semester in university and are living in the dormitories of their respective universities. Ourhostel caregiver is keeping in contacts with all these 9 students.
The hostel has now taken in 6 more students. With that, the current capacity of the hostel
caps at 24.In our most recent trip, all the mission troopers pooled together a sum of money to help fund
for a laptop for one of our ex-hostel students, who is now in university. The laptop will be usedto help the student in her school work.
Praise God for the above!

FaithGardenSince then, we have been trying to sustain Faith Garden and helping the
students through a sponsorship system which helps to pay for the
maintenance of the hostel and the school fees for the financially less able
students. Thesponsorshipsystemworkslikethis:
