Fairy Houses
Fairies wander from place to place, using their magic to help plants grow. If you want a fairy to visit
your plants, inside or outside, you’ll have to build them a place to stay. Once you’ve constructed
your fairy house, share it with us on social media or email us at [email protected]!
Step 1: Gather your materials. Fairies won’t use houses
made with materials gathered from living things, so collect
things that have fallen to the ground or from a dead tree.
Step 2: Construct the fairy house. Use flat pieces of
bark like this or use sticks. Some fairies are small,
some are big. Make your house any size you like.
Step 3: Get creative! Decorate the house however
you like with moss*, shells, pine needles, and rocks.
Decorate around the house too.
*If you build your fairy house inside and use moss to decorate it, make sure you water it along
with your plants so it doesn’t dry out!
Step 4: Leave the door open so fairies know they can
use the house!
