Major project involvement dedicated to the analysis of urban phenomena aimed at improving policy making, with a particular emphasis on senior advisory and consulting services to both the public and private sectors, internationally.

2004-07 Education Programme Director, Aga Khan Trust for Culture, Geneva.

Major consulting assignments included: coordination of on-going surveys of architecture, planning and environmental design educationprograms in the Muslim world and those concerning conditions for practice in the Muslim world; curriculum development; oversight, forthe Trust, of the Aga Khan Programs in Architecture at Harvard and MIT; organization and sponsorship of architectural fora, symposiaand lectures; oversight of the Aga Khan Award for Architecture; liason with the Aga Khan Historic Cities Support Program; and specialassignments in development planning for the Aga Khan Development Network.

Major project involvement included: urban modeling, growth forecasting,environmental impact assessment, pre-design project analysis, urban design and planning and public policy evaluation.
