Do not dwell in thepast, do not dream ofthe future, concentratethe mind on thepresent moment.

Hatred does not cease byhatred, but only by love;this is the eternal rule.

It is better to travel

well than to arrive.

It is better to conqueryourself than to win athousand battles. Thenthe victory is yours. Itcannot be taken fromyou, not by angels or bydemons, heaven or hell.

Peace comes fromwithin. Do not seek itwithout.

The way is not in thesky. The way is in theheart.

Three things cannotbe long hidden: thesun, the moon, andthe truth.

To keep the body ingood health is aduty... otherwise weshall not be able tokeep our mind strongand clear.

We are shaped by

our thoughts; webecome what wethink. When themind is pure, joyfollows like a shadowthat never leaves.

All the powers in theuniverse are already ours. Itis we who have put ourhands before our eyes andcry that it is dark.

As different streams havingdifferent sources all mingle theirwaters in the sea, so differenttendencies, various though theyappear, crooked or straight, alllead to God.

Neverthink there isanything impossible for

the soul. It is the greatestheresy to think so. If thereis sin, this is the only sin;to say that you are weak,or others are weak.

Our duty is to encourage everyone in his struggle to live up tohis own highest idea, and striveat the same time to make theideal as near as possible to theTruth.

The world is the great gymnasium where we come to make ourselves strong.

You have to grow from the inside out. None can teach you, none can make youspiritual. There is no other teacher but your own soul.
