    Bedside-operated LED lights that allow kids to change the color of their walls and have control overtheir environment

    Large flat-panel TVs in each room, with age-appropriate games and education videos geared toward the childs diagnosis

    Treatment rooms on each unit so patient rooms remain fear-free comfort zones

    Sophisticated communication and call systems for families, nursing staff and physicians

    High-tech, 24/7 monitoring that includes both telemetry and nurse observation

    High-tech security to ensure only authorized persons can enter the childs room

    A sophisticated electronic medical record (EMR) that includes safeguards for medication safety

    Computers in each room for secure electronic charting
