We offer a variety of structures to suit all requirements, from single post signal structures to D.D.A. approved pedestrian footbridges. Our in-house design team has the capabilities to develop bespoke structures for particular location difficulties.

General or specific, we provide a number of signal structure options including one through to six-track portal gantries, one and two track cantilevers and single-post signal structures.

Focussed on developments within the industry we implement a uniquedesign approach. We have recently designed an innovative slim-line and ultra-lightweight signal gantry, which is slimmer and 40% lighter than a traditional signal structure.

The new design is able to withstand wind loadings more effectively than a convntional gantry,and provides ease of installation due to its lightweight construction.

We have a very knowledgable and experienced team of designers in-house to provide innovative design ideas for your requirements.

Our design team can alsooffer Form A, Form B, structural calculations & Cat 2 checks.

WEC Fabrication provides 30 years of experience inwelding with 11 TIG sets, 23 MIG sets, 3 MMA sets and 3 GAS sets, as well as 2 submerge arc welding machines.

We also possess punching and guillotine equiptment, as well as two 3x10 tonne cranes.

We take the testing of any pre-production sample as an essential part of the process of approving an order or contract. First article inspection enables us to determine if the product meets acceptance requirements and quality control reqirements as well as the customer specification.

As a company we adhere tightly to the ISO 9001:2008 quality management system, demonstrating our ability to consistently provide products that meet both customer needs, and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements. Enhancing customer satisfaction through the effective applicaton of the system.

RAIL

WEC possess years of experience in rail installation and are proud of our highly skilled team of fitters, welders and fabricators, including PTS accredited staff, slinger-banks men and PAF accredited MEWP operators. Aware of the constraints during track possession, our team are extremely flexible working day and night shift patterns 365 days of the year.

Well known for our innovative design solutions and commitment to achieving on-time delivery, we employan in-house design team, supported by our fabrication and installation team to provide a ‘one-stop-shop’ for our clients, enabling us to manage an entire project from one site.

Since achieving Link-Up Approved status in 2002, we have provided a turnkey service within the rail sector offering solutions for both design and fabrication. We plan with ‘easy to install’ in mind, providing generic designs that offer the client a flexibility of use. We have recently become involved n providing Form B approvals, and Category 2 Structural calculations to further demonstrate our commitment to the industry.

From structural metalwork andunder-frames through to electrical enclosures and body-end cubicles, WEC Rail is experienced in delivering high quality rolling stock metalwork to the industry.

We work closely with world-class component manufacturers to ensure the highest levels of quality, and boast a comprehensive customer base featuring many well-known names in the rail industry.

We carry rail specific materials i.e.approved earth bonds and fasteners,which enables us to provide a rapidresponse to customer requirements.We have on-site capability to holdstock for rapid release, providingflexibility for your MPS.

As part of WEC Group Ltd, WEC Rail has on-site access to all the latest fabrication, laser and machining technology, ensuring we can provide a ‘one-stop-shop’ for all your metalworking requirements.

WEC Laser offers the latest in laser cutting technology including two tube laser cutters, capable of cutting tube, box and most open profiles such as angle and channel. Rotolas capability on 3m long max.,414mm dimeter x 12mm thick. We also have 7 flat-bed lasers, 6 press brakes plus supporting equipment.
