The only book available that covers the city insuch detail. Not a formal history, rather a topical record of past and presentthat misses little if anything of note. There are few dedicated histories ofGrahamstown, Joy Collier’s ”Frontier Post” (1961) being one, and this fillsthe gap for a look at the city’s heritage environment as we see it today.
