Every win, everyheadline, every interview, we rooted forhim all the way. And his PBR invitationalwas one of the most popular & well-at-tended event ever held here.

BC Hydro winter16/17 payment plan
BC Hydro today announced a special2016/2017 Winter Payment Plan optionthat will give residential customers thechoice to spread bill payments over a sixmonth period. They recognize that manycustomers will receive higher than nor-mal bills, and some may need the optionto manage the costs over a longer periodof time. Customers who would like par-ticipate in the 2016/2017 Winter PaymentPlan can call BC Hydro’s customer serv-ice team at 1-800 224 9376.
The winter billing period runs fromDec. 1, 2016 to Mar. 31, 2017.
With the colder than average temper-atures this season, BC Hydro is seeingelectricity consumption reach record lev-els. on Jan. 3, between 5-6pm, BC Hydroset a new record for power consumptionwhen demand for electricity peaked at10,126 megawatts. It broke the previousrecord set on November 29, 2006 whenconsumption reached 10,113 megawatts.
And demand for electricity is ex-pected to remain high while the coldsnap continues.

of beautiful Kane Valley with the NicolaNordic Ski Club and their annual ChiliSunday, on January 15 from 11am-2pm.Kane Valley and the ski trails are off Hwy97C and is well-plowed.
The gathering will be at P2, the secondparking lot (watch for the signs). Enjoyskiing for free, lessons for beginners andthose who would like to improve theirtechnique will begin at 11am. For lunch,bring your utensils and chili to add to thecommunal pot. Buns, hot chocolate and aroaring campfire will be provided for thesocializing part of the day.
Snow conditions are fantastic and thetrails well-groomed for skiing. This yearfor the first time, volunteers from theNicola Valley Explorers will show snowshoers where the snow shoe trails are andprovide maps — separate from the skitrails so that the nicely groomed trails re-main in good shape for skiing.
