I WONDER

I wonder why the grass is green,

And why the wind is never seen?

It is a bright day and the child

is outdoors. The child looks aroundand sees grass and also feels thewind. The child then questions why

grass is green and also why wind isonly felt but not seen by the humaneye.

Still outdoors, the child then

wonders who teachers birds to buildnests and also tells the trees to takea rest. The child has probablyobserved plants and trees swayingin the wind and now wonders whythey are standing still.

child has observed the changing shapes ofthe moon and ponders why the moon isnot round all the time. aybe the childhas seen the half moon and!or the three-
