Welcome to Silver Dolphin’s 2011 Fall Catalog!As we embark on a new season, our exciting list of novelty and educational books continues to evolve and flourish. In the spirit of reinvention and change, we are pleased to highlight a variety of innovative formats that are already receiving an overwhelming response.

One of our most engaging new series consists of an animated cast of mildly mischievous monster characters from award-winning author and illustrator Sam Lloyd. These delightful and colorful hand puppet storybooks will provide hours of entertainment for kids and parents alike. The antics of Wendy the Wide-Mouthed Frog and the overzealous, orange-haired Boris are impossible to resist!

Another stunning new format is our book and stacking boxes collections, including the beautifully illustrated Animal Parade from Alison Jay and Teddy Time from David Ellwand, featuring our favorite photographic teddy bears. These are great gift items that come with five nesting boxes, a hinged keepsake box, and a sweet board book.

Puzzles have always been a favorite family pastime, and our Fun Facts Puzzle series combines learning with entertainment. The oversized, double-sided puzzle pieces include simple facts about the 50 states and the solar system on one side, and a colorful jigsaw puzzle on the other, giving parents and children the opportunity to learn and play together.

Also included in our lineup are imaginative and educational new titles such as the Science Lab series, in which kids can conduct over 50 experiments using materials housed in the spine and back of the book. Our array of atmospheric sound and pop-up books has been expanded with the introduction of the Sounds of the Past series; in Knights and Pirates, these popular subjects are brought to life as kids explore and experience the drama of history.

Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA) and ASTM F963. These tests include, but are not limited

to, lead, heavy metals, phthalates, and other applicable tests. We also utilize a safety testing specialist to review

our products and components from the very beginning prior to the manufacturing stage. Before materials or

components are sourced, the product is subject to a design evaluation and reviewed for age appropriateness,

design hazards, and all required testing. Once the product is manufactured, it undergoes final testing at a certified

laboratory. These test documents and samples are then reviewed and approved before the product is released

into the market.
