Rising from the ashes of the Empire in unknown reaches of the galaxy, the evil First Order secretly created a military technologically superior to its predecessor. Assembled for war, they seek to rule the galaxy by destroying the New Republic and preventing the resur-rection of the Jedi.

A splinter group of the New Republic army formed by Princess Leia. She pulls together this intergalactic cavalry after she believes the threat posed by the First Order isn't being taken seriously.

defeat the resistance,she has a personal score to settle with Finn.

Fearing the dark Sith nature in her son — inherited from his grandfather, Darth Vader — Princess Leia sent him to be trained as a Jedi. Under the influence of Snoke, however,he betrayed his uncle and destroyed their order. Possess-ing knowledge of the light and dark elements of the Force, he is in constant conflict, trying to escape his past and extinguish the last vestiges of good that burn deep inside him.

Shadowy mentor of the First Order — and master of Kylo Ren.He fears that the return of Luke Skywalker will give rise to a new Jedi order.

A behind-the-scenes mechanic for the Resistance, she sees Finn as a hero and follows him on his mission. Encouraging him to stay in the fight even during the most daunting times, she provides him with goals and aspirations to live up to.
