“Christmas! Bah humbug!”

The All Community Theater group (A.C.T.) is proud to present a joyful musical adaptation by Leslie Bricusse of Charles Dickens’ classic A Christmas Carol. Join us as four ghosts attempt to save the soul of that hopeless old miser Scrooge and turn him into the man he was born to be.

Performances of Scrooge the Musical will be December 7, 8 and 9 in Simkins Hall in The Shelby Center. Show times are 7:30pm on Friday, 6:30pm on Saturday and Noon on Sunday. The Sunday performance will be preceded by a Christmas-themed brunch.

Starring adults and children, Scrooge is appropriate and fun for the whole family. Tickets are available at Coffee Fellowship and during office hours in the church office. $5.00 for children and seniors (over 65) and $10.00 for adults. Brunch tickets, including the Sunday matinee, are $10 for children and $15 for adults, and brunch begins at 11:15.

Don’t miss this opportunity to see David Mayhan as “Scrooge,” Linda Diane Anderson as “the Ghost of Jacob Marley,” Dan Nessel as “Bob Cratchit,” Larry Young as “Old Fezziwig,” David Bremer as the “Ghost of Christmas Present,” and 23 more of your very talented church friends, playing all the other wonderful characters. It’s going to be a Christmas happening, complete with hot chocolate, and spiced apple cider!

“God bless us everyone!”
