Background
India is the leading producer of food in the world, but the sector is facing problem of controlling post-harvest losses. India is considers as one of the most promising and growing economies in the world and aracted many companies related to agri-business and food business. Therefore, it is important for the stakeholders to adopt the cold chain network pracces successfully at par with the developed countries across the globe. The cold chain is generally considered as the transport and storage chain between the inial producon and the final consumer of temperature-controlled perishable goods. However, this is not the only definion, as there are other items carried under temperature control, for example works of art. However, the ICC Summit will focus mostly on transport and storage of perishable foodstuffs and pharmaceucals. There are many types of cold chain.
