Level I CurriculumThis new series will give you the robust knowledge and practical skills needed to successfully and confidently integrate implants into your scope of practice. You will learn everything from the fundamentals of diagnosis and placement to the more advanced cases that deal with severe anatomical limitations. This is the first of two steps toward earning the highest designation a GP can receive in the field of Implants.

MODULE 1: IMPLANT DIAGNOSIS & PLACEMENT | April 17-19, 2015 Dr. Luis Segura-Mori, DDS, MsD, PhD- Madrid, SpainModule 1 will cover the basics of implant diagnosis and placement, giving you the proper foundation. Dr. Segura-Mori will discuss how to properly design a treatment

plan for implants in order to avoid complications, which implant to use, and how to place implants surgically. You will work on pig jaws, making the incision, laying a flap, placing an implant, and practicing the suturing techniques taught.

MODULE 2: BASIC RESTORATIVE CASES | May 14-16, 2015 Dr. Fernando M. Munguia, DDS, FACP- Upland, CA, USADr. Munguia will instruct students on practical ways to treat restorative cases by going over treatment options for a compromised tooth, as well as implant selection

(biomechanics/design), abutment selection and restorative selection. The hands-on exercises include insertion of implant restoration, overview of torque requirements and provisional restoration on typodonts.

MODULE 3: ESTHETIC IMPLANTOLOGY | June, 2015 Dr. Vahik Meserkhani, DDS, AFAAID- Glendale, CA, USAYou will know how to properly place implants so your patients get the cosmetic results they desire.
