EXPERIENCE BARCELONA Come join us this summer for study abroad in Barcelona, Spain. Receive credit for Spanish 101, 102, 201, 202, 343 or 393 while exploring the history and culture of the most cosmopolitan city in Spain. Join us from May 31st through June 20th, spending 21 days studying in Barcelona, Spain. We will also be enjoying excursions and cultural activities in the Spanish cities of Madrid, Valencia, and Sitges. Program Dates: May 31 to June 20, 2020.

Price range: The course fee will be between $4,453.00-$4,898.00, not to exceed $4,898.00.

Classes Offered: SPAN 101, 102, 201, 202, 343 or 393. (SPAN 201 fulfills the university language requirement. No prior knowledge of Spanish required for SPAN 101). Open to all students. This program does NOT include: International roundtrip airfare to/from Barcelona, Spain. Chapman University Tuition fees*

Tuition Fees*: First summer tuition travel course is Free for eligible students! Chapman University provides Fall & Spring full time students with a One-Time Tuition Waiver for up to 4 credits that may be used for Travel Courses during the Summer Term. This form must be submitted to Student Business Services, who determines a student's eligibility. Note: Tuition fee is separate from program fee. Course fee $4,453.00-$4,898.00) cannot be waived. Important Note: A non-refundable deposit of $500 must be paid with cash, check, or credit card to the Cashier's Office or through Student's Access ePay system before 4PM Wednesday, March 25, 2020. This deposit covers a part of the total program cost and is included in the price range listed above. Once the Center for Global Education receives a signed 1) Enrollment Agreement, 2) Deposit Receipt, and 3) Copy of a signed, valid Passport (or passport renewal/application receipt), the participant is financially committed to the full cost of the program (not just the deposit paid), even if you are not able to participate for any reason.

BARCELONA Summer 2020 Travel Course

The program includes: 21 nights' accommodations in a homestay with a Spanish family in Barcelona, double

occupancy with half-board (breakfasts/dinners). Round trip private transfers between Barcelona Airport and the language school. Language courses taught by local Spanish professors in an international language school

with students from other universities and countries. Weekend excursions to the Spanish capital of Madrid, as well as Valencia and Sitges. Cultural activities in Barcelona led by Chapman faculty.
