No High efficiency Electro Static Precipitators (ESP) will be

installed to WHRB & FBC boilers to bring down the

particulate matter in the exhaust gas to less than 50

CREP recommendations. Fume extraction system with bag

filters will be provided to control the fugitive emissions

from EAF and the treated gases will be let out into the

atmosphere through a stack of adequate height. All the

CPCB stipulations for steel plants will be followed. There

are no hospitals and schools in the immediate vicinity of

the plant.

Hence there will not be any adverse impact on vulnerable

Groups.
