PRODUCTThe Bristle Blaster® technology (Tensioned Wire Blasting), introduced in 2007, is an innovation in surface preparation. Designed for professional industrial use, the Bristle Blaster® tool is able to remove corrosion, mill scale, and coatings from pitted surfaces and hard-to-reach areas. It is the only hand-held tool capable of generating surface preparation grades comparable to SSPC-SP10/NACE No.2 up to SSPC-SP5/NACE No.1 and a surface roughness profile of up to 4.7 mils (120μm Rz), results equal to abrasive blasting processes.

Typical applications of the tools include spot repairs, weld seam preparation and corrosion treatment. Advantages of portability, safety and environmental performance make the Bristle Blaster® versatile throughout a number of industrial sectors including offshore and shipbuilding, pipeline and steel construction, hydraulic engineering, petrochemical and coating applications.
