Odense, January 2015 We hereby send you the exhibitors manual for the VVS’15 – plumbing fair here at Odense Congress Centre. In the manual you will find relevant information regarding the exhibition. The manual is structured in five sections:

- Practical information: Contact information – OCC staff (VVS’15 fair team), checklist, general information and catering.

- Times schedule and deadlines: Deadlines, building up and dismantling,

opening hours for the VVS’15.

- Plans and listings: Exhibition overview, listings exhibitors, route directions and parking.

- Marketing and press: Invitation folder, marketing opportunities, media list and catalogue listing.

- Ordering forms: Rules and guidelines, order forms for technical elements and

exhibitor lunch, logistics and booking form for ST Messe Logistics (transport, handling of exhibition goods and logistics).

Building up Regarding ordering and building up please note the rules and regulations concerning these matters. These are stated in section 5 and we kindly ask you to pay attention to no. 2 and 3 regarding rules from the Fire Service. In any case – it is always useful to sending us a sketch / drawing in order to get a pre-confirmation by our technical assistant at [email protected]. This prior approval saves us the hassle. Exhibition goods When goods are delivered to / picked up after the exhibition, it is important that dates and times are respected – please note ”Deadlines”. We’d like to announce the arrival / pick up of your goods at ST Messe Logistics who is in charge and handles our logistics at Odense Congress Center. By doing so you’ll get a slot time for delivery, which we kindly ask you to inform your transporter. Also please note - there can be some waiting time can arise. ST Messe Logistics is also capable of arranging your transport to and from Odense Congress Centre (nationally as well as internationally), if needed.

Technical Service (Teknisk Service) To provide you the best service needed, Technical Service Centre will be open from the first building-up day, during the exhibition and dismantling. We are ready to help you in the best possible way. Here we also have a small assortment of groceries and you can order extra technical elements if needed etc.

- Technical Service is situated between exhibition halls A and C.

Regarding opening hours please refer to the manual – section 2. BEST WESTERN Hotel Odense The unique location of the hotel on site by the exhibition halls ensures that you are always close to VVS’15. Our 102 light and comfortable rooms and 7 suites are ready to welcome you and are all equipped with cable TV, internet access and work area.

General information

Dear Exhibitor, It is important that you read the following carefully before exhibiting at Odense Congress Centre. “General information” and “Rules and guidelines 1 – 4” are designed to ensure all exhibitors enjoy the best possible conditions during a fair. The exhibitor bears full responsibility for conscientious compliance with both the general rules and any special rules that may apply to the fair in question. None of these rules can be disregarded without the prior written consent of Odense Congress Centre. Access to the exhibition area During the fair, stand personnel in possession of an exhibitor’s card have access to the exhibition area one hour before and after the official opening hours of the fair. Cafeteria/Restaurant Odense Congress Centre publishes a leaflet about facilities for exhibitors and visitors alike. If special catering is desired at the stand, please get in touch with our chef directly to discuss the options. Tel. +45 6556 0100. Carpets For orders of carpet for the stand, the price includes laying and covering with plastic sheeting. Removable carpet tape can be purchased from Technical Services. If the exhibitor uses tape different from the tape recommended by the hall, it is the responsibility of the exhibitor to remove the carpet and the tape used. Otherwise, the carpet and tape will be removed at the exhibitor’s expense. Cleaning the stands It is the responsibility of exhibitors to clean their own stand area and to remove all rubbish during the construction and take-down periods. Complaints If you have any complaints about services provided by Odense Congress Centre, these must be submitted to us in writing before the fair closes. Complaints cannot be accepted otherwise.

Construction Construction of the stand cannot begin any earlier than the time stated in the exhibitor handbook. Construction rules Please read our “Rules and guidelines”. You are welcome to contact Technical Services if you have any questions. We recommend you submit drawings of your stand for approval. Covering stands Please read the enclosed rules from the Fire Service. Deliveries Deliveries to the stand at the fair must be labelled/addressed as follows: VVS’15 Stand No. Company name C/o Odense Congress Centre Ørbækvej 350 DK-5220 Odense SØ Please note that we will not sign for deliveries; we will merely direct the haulier to the location of the stand area. Draught beer unit Please note that orders for draught beer and mineral water units must be placed prior to the fair. Please use Order Form 7. Driving in the halls Unloading in the halls is only permitted during the periods stated in the exhibitor handbook. Parking and driving on carpets in the halls is not permitted.

General information

Electrical Installations: Installations can be ordered and equipment hired by submitting your order form to Technical Services. In order to be valid, the order form must be fully completed, signed and accompanied by a sketch plan with binding placement of installations. Any changes will be made at the exhibitor’s expense. Please use Order Form 4. For all main lines ordered in connection with your own machinery or other installations, the “mains current directive” – “Stærkstrømsregulativet” requires mains leads to terminate in a CEE/Euro plug. Moveable mounting equipment (plugs, leads, sockets, etc.) cannot be hired but can be purchased from Technical Services. Emergency Outside opening hours, the halls are monitored by an alarm system. However, please note the section about insurance. Emergency exits/fire cabinets and electrical cabinets No exhibitor is allowed to cover, conceal or close off emergency exits or fire cabinets and electrical cabinets. Neither may exhibition items be placed in front of fire cabinets and electrical cabinets, emergency exits or gangway areas. Fire Cabinets There must be completely unobstructed access to these from the nearest main gangway. Please read the enclosed rules from the Fire Service. Fire Service Please read the applicable rules from the fire authorities. It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to obey instructions from Fire Service personnel, who must at all times have

unrestricted access to the stand in order to verify compliance with all requirements imposed by the authorities. Please read the enclosed rules from the Fire Service. Floors All halls have concrete floors. You are not allowed to drill into, drive nails into or otherwise damage the floors. During painting or where there is a risk of oil spillage, the floor must be covered. Flowers There is an option to buy large green plants and flowers to decorate the stand. Please use Order Form 9. Gas cylinders No gas cylinders of any kind may be kept at the stands except by prior agreement with Technical Services. Please read the enclosed rules from the Fire Service. Gates and doors Gates and doors to the Congress Centre must not be blocked either on the inside or on the outside, and the seal must not be broken. Guards All kinds of machines, systems and devices on display must be equipped with the safety components required by law, whether or not they are displayed in operation. Demonstrations that produce dust, smoke, steam, odour, gas, etc., may only proceed where nuisances is effectively removed. Any demonstrations of this nature must be reported to and approved by Odense Congress Centre at least one month before the fair. See also under “Rules and guidelines”. Haulage If you wish assistance with haulage, unloading and loading as well as

To avoid waiting, we recommend that you arrange assistance before the fair. Hotels Odense Congress Centre has its own hotel with 109 rooms. Please contact the BEST WESTERN Hotel Odense directly to book rooms: tel. +45 6556 0300. Insurance Odense Congress Centre does not accept any liability (whether direct or via insurance) for the equipment exhibited. We recommend you get in touch with your company’s insurers with regard to insuring your own items or hired items on display. See also under “Rules and guidelines”.

Internal transportation: We recommend as far as possible that exhibitors bring their own sack barrows or trolleys. If you have large exhibition objects that cannot be transported along the gangways indicated on the hall plan (which are min. 2 m wide), please contact ST Messe Logistics no later than four weeks before the fair takes place. Liability/damage The exhibitor and its personnel bear full liability to pay compensation for any damage to the walls, ceilings, floors, columns, installations, etc., of the halls and the materials hired/borrowed for the stands. The exhibitor is also liable for any personal injury or loss of or damage to property that may be caused by the exhibitor and its personnel or exhibition equipment. See also under “Rules and guidelines”. Lighting During the exhibition period, there is normal room lighting in the halls. It is the responsibility of exhibitors to ensure they have the necessary lighting at the stand. Loudspeakers/TV/Video The noise level must not exceed 85 dB (A) measured 1 m from the stand. See also under “Rules and guidelines”. Merchandising service From the merchandising service associated with Technical Services, you can buy various merchandising items. Please note that orders for draught beer and mineral water units must be placed prior to the fair. Items ordered by 4 pm will be delivered to the stand before the start of the fair the next day. Music and sound Exhibitors wishing to use music and sound at the stand must be aware of the Koda/Gramex rules.

General information

For further information, see www.koda.dk or www.gramex.dk. It is your own responsibility to ensure compliance with their rules for playing recorded music. We encourage you to inform your neighbours concerning the number and duration of any audio demonstrations you intend to put on. If there are any complaints from the event organiser or the surrounding stands, the volume must be turned down or the sound stopped. See also under “Rules and guidelines”. Network Odense Congress Centre does not offer wireless network in the exhibition areas. However it is possible to get access to wireless network in common rooms and lobbies – search for “OCC” network. Wired broadband for your stand can be ordered via form No. 5. Ordering technical installations, fittings, etc. Order forms for technical services, stand construction, carpet, lighting, fittings, etc., must be submitted to Odense Congress Centre by the deadlines stated. Any order forms submitted after this point will attract a surcharge of 25%. Late orders for services will be dealt with in the order received, but there is no guarantee that they will be completed in time. Forms are to be completed and faxed to +45 6556 0299 or E-mailed to [email protected] If you wish to return ordered items during the fair, you will be charged 50 % of the item’s rental fee. Forms are sent directly to the exhibitor – but can also be downloaded from the Odense Congress Centre website www.occ.dk – select “Messer & Udstillinger” [fairs and exhibitions]

Packaging/empties: For a fee, packaging can be stored by the trade-fair haulage company. Packaging must be labelled with a completed packaging label. Packaging labels are issued at Technical Services and at ST Messe Logistics (trade fair haulage) behind Hall C. We recommend contacting ST Messe Logistics if you wish assistance for transportation, storage of large quantities, etc. To avoid waiting, you are recommended to arrange assistance prior to the fair. Parking There is free parking for exhibitors and visitors. Photographs There is to be no photographing of stands or products without the permission of the exhibitor. An exhibitor has permission to photograph solely its own stand. Odense Congress Centre can put you in touch with a photographer. Purchase card The opportunity is offered to make purchases in the cafeteria and restaurant/hotel with the total invoiced after the fair. This requires registration and the issuing of a purchase card, which can be ordered prior to the fair. Purchase cards are issued personally upon application to Technical Services. Regulations Exhibitors are responsible for their own stands and must comply with the rules and stipulations established by the event organiser, Fire Service or other authorities. The exhibited products and the stand area must be fully fitted out in accordance with the fair’s construction times. The right to make use of the stand area is conditional on the exhibitor’s compliance with the established rules. Infringement entitles the event organiser to have free use of the allocated exhibition area without

the exhibitor being released from its payment obligation. Exhibitors or their personnel can be expelled if their behaviour is offensive in the opinion of the event organiser, visitors, other exhibitors or the hall personnel. See also under “Rules and guidelines”. Risk With regard to fire, theft, water damage, malicious damage, etc., the exhibited items are all for the account and at the risk of the exhibitor. Under no circumstances can Odense Congress Centre be held liable for any loss or damage to property or any personal injury caused by the exhibitor or the exhibitor’s equipment, and the exhibitor is advised to arrange all insurance in this regard. Please also read the section on insurance. See also under “Rules and guidelines”. Rubbish Small amounts of non-combustible material can be put in the containers provided by the congress centre. Large quantities can be removed from the stands at the exhibitor’s expense. Combustible material can be put in the containers provided. Special waste must not be put in the containers, but must be delivered to Technical Services. Special waste will be disposed of at the exhibitor’s expense. Spirits/serving drinks Exhibitors are not allowed to serve alcoholic beverages from their stands without prior agreement with Odense Congress Centre, which is licensed to sell spirits. In addition, we advise all exhibitors to restrict the serving of alcoholic beverages at the stands. Obviously, serving alcohol to young people under 18 is not allowed. Stand delineation (use of the stand area) Please refer to Section 1.3 of the “Rules and guidelines”.

Stand description Stand only, without construction Supplied as bare floor space. Stands without construction are intended for the company’s own construction systems. For a fee, Odense Congress Centre can assist with stand construction. Stand height The normal height of stand partitions, friezes and advertising signs is 250 cm, which corresponds to the partition walls available for hire from Odense Congress Centre. If you wish to have a structure taller than 250 cm, please see the rules concerning this in the special rules. Stand materials Stand construction must not include materials such as cardboard, paper, textiles, plastic products, etc., which are easily ignited, explosive or give off toxic fumes in a fire. No materials more combustible than wood may be used. Accordingly, curtain fabrics must have fire-retardant impregnation in accordance with the directions of the Fire Service and the manufacturer. Please read the enclosed rules from the Fire Brigade. Stand sketch You can use Form 1 to draw a sketch of your own stand. You must indicate all technical installations on this sketch. REMEMBER to submit Form 1 to Technical Services along with the other order forms. Please be aware that it is not sufficient only to fill in Form 1; the other relevant forms must also be filled in. Stand, with construction Supplied with white partition walls adjoining the neighbouring stand and with a rear wall and frieze over open sides. Partitions and frieze are white melamine plates in aluminium frames.

General information

If you do not want these services, please put a cross to this effect on Form No. 1. The exhibitors themselves are responsible for the company name, logo, etc., on the sign friezes. Suspension from the ceiling Exhibitors themselves are not allowed to suspend exhibition objects, signs, and banners, stand equipment, etc., from the ceiling, walls or installations of the hall. For safety reasons, at least two wires are required for a banner, sign, etc. Take-down No exhibitor may begin take-down of the stand in any way or removal of the exhibited products before the official closure of the fair. Technical orders If you have any questions concerning stand construction, order forms, etc., you are welcome to contact our Technical Coordinators during working days from 8 am – 3.30 pm at tel. +45 6556 0284. Technical Services Technical Services is the exhibitors- service centre during the fair. This is where you can have all your questions answered in connection with construction and the holding of the fair. Technical Services is located in Lobby 2 between Hall A and Hall C. The Danish Working Environment Authority During the entire construction, exhibition and take-down period, the rules of the Danish Working Environment Authority concerning the use of machinery, scaffolding, lifts and tools must be adhered to. See also under “Rules and guidelines”.

Two-storey stands Please read the enclosed rules from the Fire Service. Unloading The halls have large gates and you can drive right up to them. There are no steps or obstacles, so all equipment can be rolled directly to the stand. Be sure to read the enclosed information about times, etc., as well. Vans, lorries, trailers, etc. You are registered when you arrive for construction and take-down. Lorries can load and unload for 1 hour; vans and trailers for half an hour. Vehicles at the stand See “rules & regulations” for further information. VAT For exhibitors within the European Union invoicing for exhibitions and similar services shall not include VAT if the customer is a business or VAT-registered entity and is established in a different country to the seller. This means that for exhibition services provided at the Odense Congress Centre, Danish VAT will not be included on invoices if the customer is a business or VAT-registered entity established in a foreign country. Customers within the EU should instead declare VAT on these services in their respective countries, a so-called reverse charge. If the customer is not a business or VAT-registered entity then the place of supply for all services will continue to be the country in which the event takes place. Invoicing without VAT will only be executed if the VAT No. is filled in on the order forms. Video/TV/Film In connection with showing films, TV and videos, etc., exhibitors shall undertake to ensure there is sufficient standing room or seating within their own stand areas.

General information

Workers’ cards Workers’ cards are not necessary during construction or take-down. However, during the fair, exhibitors must wear visible exhibitor cards/badges. 24-hour electricity supply Power in the halls is switched off at night. If you need 24-hour electricity, therefore, please note this on your order form. A 24-hour electricity supply will be provided from the day the exhibitor first moves in and continues up to and including the day after the fair closes at 12 noon – unless otherwise agreed with Technical Service.

Insurance Please note: Odense Congress Centre does not accept no liability (whether directly or through insurance) for the exhibited material. We recommend that you contact your own insurance company regarding insurance of your own or leased exhibition articles. It is a requirement of all professional indemnity insurance, to be made a special screening of working (dangerous) exhibition articles. Please note that commercial liability, business and transportation insurance only by special agreement covers damage during transportation, loading, unloading and simple theft during the fair. Does your company not have a valid transportation insurance - ST Messe Logistics (Odense Congress Center's permanent internal trade fair forwarding agent) - in some cases offers a transport insurance related to the transport, loading and unloading. Invitations- and Exhibitor Material

The Invitation folder (ONLY IN DANISH) contains general information regarding the exhibition, exhibitors List etc. It replaces the former access card for the visitors. REMEMBER… The invitation folder is still the best way to promote Your participation as an exhibitor on VVS’15. All visitors must register online on www.vvs15.dk or by the main entrance to the exhibition. Feedback from visitors from our prior VVS exhibitions shows that 65 – 70% decided to visit the exhibition, because they received invitation folders directly from an exhibitor. Please do not hesitate to use this free opportunity to get in contact with the VVS industry – order as many invitation folders as You need, for free. Ordered invitation folders will be delivered to you at the beginning of March 2015. Exhibitor cards for stand staff must be collected in “Teknisk Service” when You arrive to Odense Congress Center. The Exhibitor cards ensures that Your staff has unlimited access to the exhibition during the three exhibition days. Parking permits are to be collected in “Teknisk Service” on arrival. The parking permits are for the exhibitors parking area closest to the exhibition halls. Each stand is assigned a certain amount of parking permits, calculated from the size of the stand. Odense Congress Center has approx. 2.000 parking spaces as well, that you can use – free of charge. These parking spaces are located on other parts of the Odense Congress Center cadastral.

All guests must be registered electronically in advance of the fair, after which they receive 'a ticket' per. mail. This ticket is scanned and exchanged for an Admission Card to the fair when arrival to the exhibition centre.

Logo and / or company add in the catalogue It will contain an alphabetical list of exhibitors, hall overviews and practical information for the visitors etc. You also have the opportunity to get your company logo and / or a company add in the catalogue. Rules and guidelines 1-4

1. Rules for use of the stand area 1.1 The right of utilisation cannot be loaned or hired to others.

1.2 The exhibition stand must be completed and exhibited items must be in

place at the times stated before the fair opens, and take-down is not allowed until the exhibition closes. The exhibition stand must be open and manned throughout the fair period.

1.3 It is not permissible to place products, decorations, fixtures, etc., in the gangway and/or free areas.

1.4 Odense Congress Center has exclusive rights to serve food and beverages

within the exhibition area. Samples can only be handed out with the prior approval of Odense Congress Center. This is because Odense Congress Center is responsible for ensuring compliance throughout the exhibition area with the laws and regulations of the authorities, including environmental and hygiene requirements pertaining to food regulations and licensing laws. Accordingly, it is only permissible to establish serving areas for food and beverages at the stands after obtaining approval from Odense Congress Center and in line with its specification of requirements. This way, you and your company are automatically covered by the Odense Congress Center spirits license, and we have ensured compliance with the rules governing the storage and serving of foodstuffs. Exhibitors must not sell food or beverages under any circumstances. Please see section 4.

1.5 The stipulations of the Danish Ministry of Economic and Business Affairs

concerning participation in exhibitions must be complied with. Rules and guidelines established by the Danish Working Environment Authority and any other public bodies must be adhered to closely. Personnel from these bodies must have unrestricted access to the stand area and their instructions must be followed.

1.6 Insurance: Odense Congress Center does not accept any liability (whether

direct or via insurance) for the equipment exhibited. We recommend exhibitors get in touch with their own insurers with regard to insuring their own items or hired items on display. Please also note that commercial liability, corporate and transport insurance only includes loss or damage in transit, during unloading and loading, as well as simple theft during the fair, by special agreement. In addition, it is a requirement of all commercial insurance policies that working (hazardous) exhibition items be specially guarded.

1.7 Exhibited machinery, systems and devices of all kinds must be equipped with the prescribed safety components, whether or not they are in operation. All connections to power and/or compressed air must be in accordance with applicable norms. Demonstrations that produce dust, smoke, steam, odor, gas, etc., may only go ahead provided that there is effective removal of this pollution.

1.8 The floor area in the halls must be protected to the maximum extent possible. In the case of any kind of spillage, the floor must be covered, and only special tape may be used, available from Technical Services. Lorries can only be driven in the halls by agreement, and all motor vehicles with the engine running must have a hose attached to take the exhaust fumes out into the open.

1.9 Exhibited items and equipment of all kinds are present at the responsibility and risk of the exhibitor and transportation to, from and in the exhibition area is to be arranged by the exhibitor at its own responsibility and risk. The exhibitor is liable for personal injury, as well as loss or damage to property or premises caused by the exhibitor, its personnel or equipment.

1.10 Use of the stand area is in all other respects conditional on the exhibitor’s

compliance with stated rules. Infringement may lead to the exhibitor being expelled, and this may happen if, in the event organizer’s opinion, the exhibitor and/or its personnel behave inappropriately or contrary to good marketing practice. In the event of expulsion, the event organizer is free to use the exhibition area without the exhibitor being released from its payment obligation.

1.11 Personnel from the public authorities or from Technical Services must

always be allowed into the stand. Any corrective advice from the authorities or from Technical Services must always be complied with.

2. Rules concerning stand construction/design and guidelines for use of stand equipment

2.1 There must be no construction outside the hired area. Covering more than 50 % of the sides towards each aisle is not allowed.

2.2 The exhibitor is responsible for fitting out the stand area. Moreover, the exhibitor undertakes to keep the stand open and to have it properly manned during the exhibition period. Rules established by Odense Congress Center, the Fire Service and/or other authorities must be complied with.

2.3 The design of the structure must not inconvenience neighbouring stands by means of light, laser beams, sound/loudspeaker systems, noisy behavior, undecorated white stand walls, etc. Use of loudspeakers, the showing of films, light shows, etc., is only allowed if it does not inconvenience the neighbouring stands. It should be noted that the noise level 1 m from the stand must not exceed 85 dB (A).

2.4 Structures on the perimeter of the area must not exceed 2.5 m in height before rising at an angle of 45

o in towards the center of the area. In cases

where deviation from this is desired, a drawing must be submitted to Technical Services for final approval.

2.5 Construction (and take-down) of the stand area must take account of the safety of personnel and visitors.

2.6 The exhibitor must agree to comply with the deadlines established by the event organizer for any given event. Where deadlines are exceeded, the exhibitor undertakes to pay any additional costs arising, e.g. extra personnel costs.

2.7 Two-storey stands are only allowed by prior agreement with the fair organizer as well as Odense Congress Center Technical Services. A drawing must be submitted and Odense Fire Service shall make the final decision in each particular case. Stands on which an upper storey is established must be equipped with a sprinkler system. Please read Section 3. Fire Service rules.

2.8 Stand construction must not include materials such as cardboard, paper, textiles, plastic products, etc., that are easily ignited, explosive or emit toxic fumes in a fire. No materials more combustible than wood may be used. Accordingly, curtain fabrics must have fire-retardant impregnation in accordance with the directions of the Fire Service and the manufacturer. For all main lines ordered in connection with your own machinery or other installations, the “mains current directive” – “Stærkstrømsregulativet” requires mains leads to terminate in a CEE/Euro plug.

2.9 Putting nails and screws directly into the stand plates and sign friezes is strictly prohibited. Similarly, painting/writing on the stand equipment is also prohibited.

2.10 Items can be hung using a variety of fittings, which can be borrowed/purchased from Technical Services. Please be aware that borrowed fittings, etc., must be handed back to Technical Services after use/after the fair – otherwise you will be invoiced for these. Lightweight materials can also be hung up using special tape, available for purchase from Technical Services.

2.11 Note that all tape, etc., must be removed from plates, friezes and floors when you hand back the stand – otherwise you will be invoiced for cleaning/restoration as follows: Stand panels DKK 250.00 per side. Friezes DKK 25.00 per running meter Floors and other equipment according to invoice. Prices exclude VAT and are also applicable to any other type of damage to or soiling of equipment.

2.12 Handing back the stand area after use. The stand area must be cleared of rubbish at hand-back after use/after the fair, and rubbish must be placed in the appropriate waste receptacles/containers. The floor must also be cleaned and any remaining tape removed. Otherwise, the exhibitor will be invoiced for clear-up/cleaning.

Please note that the stated rules, technical building rules and rules established by the Fire Service and/or other authorities must be complied with.

The exhibition management shall have the final say in cases of doubt – and can require any structure that infringes the above rules to be dismantled.

3. Rules from the Fire Service A fire at a fair would of course be catastrophic, and hence you must become acquainted with the Fire Service's rules: The Fire Service must approve the fair, and the instructions and orders of fire safety inspector must always be followed. A fair/exhibition at Odense Congress Center is encompassed by the Danish Preparedness Act with its associated operational regulations. The information below comprises the Odense Fire Service's supplement to the Danish Emergency Management Agency's operational regulations for hotels, etc., rest homes, community centres, educational premises, daycare institutions and shops. The guideline provisions in the information have been prepared in co-operation with the emergency management authorities in 5 other municipalities.

3.1 Sprinkling

The halls are furnished with a sprinkler system. If it is desired that stands have coverings, then the covering must as a point of departure consist of a material that has a flameproof finish and is 80 % water penetrable. Stands that it is desired be covered with material that is NOT water penetrable and which exceed 15 m2 must have sprinkling. Drawings for approval of the construction and documentation of the water penetrability of the covering must be submitted to Odense Congress Center within the deadline for technical orders. Documentation of the covering must be preserved at the stand and be able to be exhibited upon request.

All stands which incorporate busses, camping vehicles, containers and the like, or which are built with 2 storeys, must be evaluated separately by Odense Congress Center for purposes of any possible sprinkling or the establishment of special fire safety measures.

The sprinkling will be arranged by Odense Congress Center’s external supplier. Expenses for such will be defrayed by the exhibitor. Alternatively, expenses for fire safety may be expected if the Odense Fire Brigade assesses that this solution will be used in connection with the event.

Odense Congress Center reserves the right to reject inquiries concerning

fixed coverings in the event that the scope of fixed stand coverings in the entire exhibition hall exceeds 25 %.

3.2 Emergency exits and fire hoses

No exhibitor may cover, hide or close emergency exits, water-filled hose reels or fire alarms. Nor may you place exhibition objects in gangways or in front of emergency exits. In closed rooms where people are present for long periods (meeting rooms, offices and the like), two exits must always be established. Depot, kitchenette and the like require only one exit.

3.3 Stand construction and decorations Requirements for facings, decorations and other materials for constructing the stand are described in the Operational regulations. Floors at a stand may however, as per the assessment of the emergency management authorities, be permitted to be covered with flame retardant materials, whereas floors in gangways must not be covered with material any worse than the normal floor covering of the premises. Decorations and scenography of combustible materials must be impregnated with fire retardants (documentation must be exhibited upon request), or be sufficiently moistened. 3.4 Inflammable gases (LPG, acetylene, etc.) If LPG (bottled gas) or pressurized bottles of another type are brought for an exhibition, such must be reported to Odense Congress Center. The same deadline as for technical orders. Temporary gas installations are encompassed by section B-5 of the Danish Gas Regulations. The individual responsible for operation must display the control certificate shown in appendix 1 of the Regulations, encompassing all the gas installations in the premises. The certificate will be filled in by an authorized gas installation technician. Acetylene bottles must due to their properties (unstable) not be placed in the halls. Filled gas bottles must be removed from the area of the fair, for storage outside, at the daily close of the exhibition, as well as in the event of a fire/alarm. Contact Odense Congress Center for references to a safe storage area. Bottles that solely serve decorative purposes must be factory new and empty. 3.5 Inflammable fluids There must be no containers with explosive and inflammable fluids in the halls.

3.6 Motor vehicles at stands If motor vehicles are at the stand, then such must be reported to Odense Congress Center. The same deadline as for technical orders.

The quantity of fuel in the motor vehicle must be limited to approx. 5 liters. For ”normal” factory-produced or type-approved vehicles, the vehicle's battery shoe/battery may remain mounted. Other motor vehicles, including non-type-approved, must not stand with an applied voltage after the daily closing of the fair. Vehicles with an external power supply without a charging function must not stand with an applied voltage after the daily closing of the exhibition. Charging of batteries: the area must be fitted out with respect to Danish Institute of Fire and Security Technology (DBI) regulations 21, subsection 3.3, concerning the use of motorized implements in commercial enterprises. Hydrogen vehicles must not be exhibited with hydrogen in the tank or the like. Electrical vehicles must, when being exhibited, have their own fire extinguishing material placed at the stand.

3.7 Use of open flame Use of open flame, including any form of candles, for decorative use, must not be done at exhibition stands. Use of open flame at stands may be permitted by a written application to Odense Congress Center. It is a precondition for any possible permission that the product that is being demonstrated, with respect to the effect of the demonstration, be dependent upon the use of open flame. Suitable fire extinguishing material must be placed at the stand. Use of open flame, including candles, can normally be accepted in the general food service areas of the Congress Center, set-ups of tables/chairs and similar areas without exhibited objects and inflammable decorations. Further fire extinguishing material is not required here. If candles are desired at stands, an application concerning such must be made to Odense Congress Center. Use of a bioethanol fireplace or similar products may be permitted, on the condition that they are set up/installed with respect to the supplier's instructions that the supplier's other safety provisions are complied with. During the hours the fair is open, no form of repouring between containers may be performed. No reserve stock of liquids may be found at the stand, and the fireplace's combustion chamber must be covered over at closing time if there still is any liquid remaining. Suitable fire extinguishing material must be found at the stand.

3.8 Overnight stays in the halls by people and animals No overnight stays may be made in the halls since these are for fairs, exhibitions and the like.

3.9 Electrical safety

The Danish Safety Technology Authority conducts on-going tightened inspections of electrical installations in premises where more than 150 persons can gather. The provisions that are applicable also apply for exhibitors in such premises. If the general safety provisions are not complied with, the Odense Congress Center may find it necessary to

disconnect the supply of electricity to the stand. Any possible consequential expenses incurred in connection with this are not the concern of Odense Congress Center. 3.10 Special stand designs It is the exhibitor's obligation to ensure that its own stand design is in accordance with the applicable building legislation. This applies especially when: • you wish to build a stand with a 2-storey height • tall platforms are incorporated into the stand design, structures and the

like, which are subjected to heavy goods.

In special cases you must apply for approval from the building authorities.

You are requested to always submit drawings for approval of stand designs to Odense Congress Center.

4. Food and beverages

4.1 As a point of departure, preparing food at the stand or serving food from an outside supplier is not permitted at Odense Congress Center.

4.2 The reasons for this include that Odense Congress Center is responsible for the laws and regulations of the Danish authorities being followed, including environmental and hygiene requirements from the Municipal Food Safety Unit and the Danish Licensing Act being adhered to in the entire exhibition area.

4.3 Applications must always be made to Odense Congress Center for permission in connection with the serving of food and beverages at the exhibition area. Provision of food as well as tasting samples may only take place with the prior consent of Odense Congress Center.

4.4 Such will be evaluated and a decision made, in each individual instance, by Odense Congress Center, and it is solely and only Odense Congress Center who can make the decision concerning an exemption and no others.

4.5 Exemption Exemptions may be granted for the delivery of food products to the stand, provided that a number of guidelines and requirements are fulfilled. Differentiated requirements apply for exemptions in the cases below.

4.6 Preparation of food from fully prepared raw materials Fully prepared food products comprise, for example: sausages, shop-baked bread, soft serve ice cream, factory prepared frozen goods, etc. Exemptions for handling and serving are only granted in instances where the delivery and handling of food products from the stand is performed by personnel with a hygiene course. Water and drainage must be installed at the stand, the food products must be traceable back through the supplier chain. Storage of raw materials at the stand must comply with applicable rules – including temperature, cleaned surfaces, no food products on the floor, etc.

4.7 Preparation of food from fresh raw materials Fresh raw materials are, for example: Meat, fish, forcemeat, pancakes, and dough production. In general, foods with a high bacteria risk. It is a requirement that all raw materials be purchased by Odense Congress Center and prepared at Odense Congress Center's kitchen facilities by Odense Congress Center's personnel. If, for example, you wish to fry meatballs at the stand, the forcemeat must be purchased via OCC. Exemptions for handling and serving are only granted in instances where the delivery and handling of food products from the stand is performed by personnel with a hygiene course. Water and drainage must be installed at the stand, the food products must be traceable back through the supplier chain. Storage of raw materials at the stand must comply with applicable

rules – including temperature, cleaned surfaces, no food products on the floor, etc.

4.8 Serving of food/beverages delivered by an external supplier without preparation

Food/beverages delivered by an external supplier comprises for example: pastry man, fruit, sandwiches, catering of any type, coffee cart, etc. Since inquiries in this category are broadly distributed, Odense Congress Center will evaluate the criteria for exemptions on an inquiry-by-inquiry basis.

4.9 Handling of food products within the triviality limit Food products within the triviality limit comprise for example: sweets, peanuts, popcorn, soda pop and the like. For such things it is NOT necessary to seek an exemption at Odense Congress Center.

In general, it must be expected that for all food products outside the triviality limit there will be a fee to Odense Congress Center (”corkage”) in connection with exemptions for food served at the stand.

Odense Congress Center itself solely makes decisions concerning exemptions.

Building up 45° rule and 50% rule

If the stand construction exceeds the allowed high of construction of 250 cm the 45° rule become effective. If your neighbour(s) accept the increased high of build up, You have to send in a confirmation of the accept to Odense Congress Centers. The 45° rule is in force towards higher build up towards neighbours and towards aisles.

Specification, Precautions and Safety of Broadband Solutions Appendix to Technical Order Form No. 5

Specification: Odense Congress Centre’s network is based on a 100 mbps super-fast Internet connection with an 8 mbps backup and protected by a firewall that blocks off external access. Internally, at Odense Congress Center, a 1-gigabit backbone is used for establishing V-lans that are kept separate and only have Internet access and access to any joint resources. We offer one or several V-lans with 2 mbps in- and outgoing traffic. IP addresses, etc., are allocated automatically. All connections are included free traffic. Connections are not included configuration of exhibitors equipment. Precautions: We are pleased that you want to use our broadband connection, but to give everybody the best result and to offer protection against viruses and hacker attacks, we have to insist that: 1. Your PC has an automatic, updated virus program that scans and encapsulates viruses and worms. 2. You have made a virus scan just prior to arrival at Odense Congress Center. Safety: All connected computers will be protected by a firewall which will be currently updated. ST MESSE LOGISTIK is set up as a secondary name for a 10 year old companyFyns Lager Service v / Steen Thorvaldsson, who since 2005 has worked as afreelance exhibition forwarder at Odense Congress Center.

ST MESSE LOGISTIK offers the following services at Odense Congress Center.

- Unloading and loadint with truck or crane. - Receipt of goods for fairs / conferences. - Handling / baksning of machines and structures etc. by truck or crane. - Storage and returned of empties. - Manpower. - National and international transport and shipping to and from fairs / conference ( world wide). - Courier. - Cargo insurance.

All services rendered are subject to the General Conditions of the Nordic Association of Freight Forwarders (NSAB2000). Under these conditions our liability for loss of, deterioration of or damageto goods is limited to SDR 8,33 per kg. and our liability for delay is limited to the amount of freight, but not exceeding SDR 50.000 per order. In connection with storage, the freight forwarder’s total liability for damage is limited to SDR 500.000 for any accident of damage occured (clause 27). Special attentionis directed to the stipulations that claims against the freight forwarder are statute-barred after 1 year (clause 30) and that the lien on goods (clause 14) applies to both current and previous claims. Claims for freight must be honoured regardless of the terms of delivery under the contract of sale or freight aggrement (clause10).
