Commencing 10am (In the Store Cattle Ring)
All ewes will be sold strictly in catalogue order. Starting with the older Mule ewes & Mule shearlings, penned in the cattle pens and sold through the store cattle ring, followed by two small flock dispersals, shearling ewes and ewe lambs penned in the sheep pens and sold in their pens. Rams
All sold in catalogue order through the Dairy ring commencing 12 noon. 1. MV Accredited Rams (penned in Calf Pens) 2. Non MV Accredited Rams (penned in Prime Cattle Pens) Judging
Commencing at 9.30am Judge- Mr Norman Hawkey of Wadebridge Best Pen of 20 or more Mule Shearling Ewes (1st, 2nd & 3rd) - kindly sponsored by British Wool Marketing Board. The Bentham Auction Mart Cup will be awarded to the champion pen in the above class. Plus, £50 sponsored by Bentham Auction in addition to normal prize money if the champion pen had been purchased out of Bentham as ewe lambs. Vendors please note
To aid with the smooth running of the sale, we remind all vendors that the Older Mule Ewes & Mule Shearlings for judging should be penned by 9am, all other Mule Shearlings by 9.30am and all other sheep penned in the sheep pens by 10.30am to allow the sale to commence promptly.
