Career Fair Attendance by Major

The College of Architecture Career & Internship Fair hosted 28 companies (a decrease of 6.67% from the previous year). Ten companies conducted 39 interviews the day after the fair. Architecture students also attended the Sooner Showcase and the Spring Career Fair.

The Construction Science Division hosted two career fairs as well. The fall event attracted 35 employers with 82 students attending, and 143 interviews conducted by 18 companies. The spring event attracted 28 employers with 78 students attending, and 46 interviews conducted by 10 companies.

Many students participate in on-campus interviews. The total interview calculation reflects all interviews. There were 25 companies that recruited Architecture students by conducting 204 on-campus interviews.

Data is collected utilizing several methods including, but not limited to, in-class surveys, email campaigns, individual department exit interviews/surveys, and digital research. The Engineering Career Fair is one of the largest career fairs on campus and is mostly geared toward technical majors. The Fall 2015 Engineering Career Fair hosted 150 employers (a 6.83% decrease over the previous year) and 1,604 students attended. Career Fair Attendance by Major

Typically Engineering students attend the Engineering Career Fair as well as the Spring Career Fair. The Engineering Career Fair is one of the largest career fairs on campus and is mostly geared toward technical majors. The Fall 2015 Engineering Career Fair hosted 150 employers (a 6.83% decrease over the previous year) and 1,604 students attended. The 2016 Spring Career Fair hosted 129 employers and 1,127 students attended. The chart below shows the attendance broken down by major for the two largest career fairs.

Engineering students also attended the Architecture Career Fair (9 engineering students) as well as the Teacher Career Fair (1).
