EXCHANGE WITH GOTHENBURG UNITwice a year, one semester each, 2 students each time.
Procedure:
• Students choose courses, submit an application to FIS• FIS shortlists students based on criteria: English, academic
qualifications and contribution to community.• Shortlist sent to Gothenburg. Issuance of Invitation letter, insurance by
Gothenburg.• Students (chosen): apply for visa, reserve accommodation and other
preparations.• Students (chosen): request for permission for taking exchange and
reserving their academic results with the uni.Back from Gothenburg:
• Students to submit results to Uni and faculty, request for permission to resume study at Hanu.
• Contribute to FIS column on Exchange, sharing pix and experience, keeping in touch with friends in Gothenburg.

Announcement on website and on FIS notice board. Times will be set in calendar.

After a 10-15 day selection period the announcement of successful candidates will be made.

- Mrs Huyen sends nomination list to Gothenburg University
From 10/10/2011 Chosen Students start to apply with the University of Gothenburg according to their procedures that will be sent to them from Exchange Student Service.
Latest is on 01/11/2011
Finish all required documents and hand them in to the Swedish Embassy (for more information on the correct visa, visit the Embassy visa website)
05/01/2012 Getting the Visa and booking flight ticket ( the Embassy will contact to you immediately once you are accepted)

Departure days
COSTSChosen students will not have to pay for the tuition fee (which is required non-EU students to pay). However, you will be responsible for the living and travelling cost which is
estimated to be around 70 million VND.
More specifically:
About 26 million VND for flight ticket
5,000 Kr/ Month for a sharing apartment ( abt 15 Million VND)
Tram’s ticket 1,250 Kr/ 4 months ( 3,750 Million VND )
And the rest is for food and your own leisure activities
CREDIT TRANSFER
All credits would be transferred back to FIS.
Students still have to pay for the tuition fee for the semester that they are supposed to join in Hanoi University.
