INSTRUCTIONS FOR M.B.A. / M.C.A. STUDENTS OF O.U. AFFILIATED COLLEGES

1. All entries should be in the candidates own handwriting and the candidate will be heldpersonally responsible for any incorrect entry that he/she makes.

2. All students who have studied the CD based Modules/Courses have to fill in the Examination

forms and have them attested by the Principal of the College on top of the College stamp inthe space indicated for the same. The filled in, stamped and attested student exam formsshould be forwarded to the Director, PGRRCDE, OU in person or through post to reach theCentre at least 3 weeks before the stated module exam date along with a covering lettermentioning the preferred exam dates and the names of the students sitting for the exam byauthorized person of the College and not by the individual student(s).

3. The fee paid for all modules is inclusive of the Exam Fee of Rs 50/- per module (for oneattempt per module only).

a.If the candidate fails the module Exam at the first attempt, orif the candidate is absenton the date chosen by him/her as indicated in the Hall Ticket, the Candidate has toreappear for the examination after a months duration by filling in the fresh examinationapplication form with a fee of Rs.50/- per module per attemptin the form of DD in favourof The Director, PGRR Centre for Distance Education, Osmania University, Hyderabad.

b. Change of dates will not be entertained. Under special circumstances, a change ofdate will be considered and student will have to reapply with a fine of Rs.50/- in the formof DD in favour of The Director, PGRR Centre for Distance Education, OsmaniaUniversity, Hyderabad.

4. The candidate must bring the attested examination hall ticket to the exam venue to do theMCC Exam. If the hall ticket is lost, the candidate must apply for a duplicate by paying a DDof Rs.50/- in favour of the Director, PGRRCDE, OU and complete the process again at leasttwo weeks before the examination due date.

5. During the examination the candidate is not permitted to have the Cell phone on and coursematerial in any form in the examination hall.

8. Please attach a Xerox copy of the Identity card along with the filled in examinationapplication form.

9. The duration of the exam will be for 1 hour per Module.

10. You need to complete these one/four module/s preferably before or during the course of yourM.B.A./M.C.A. programmes. However, the student can also do the Modular Certificate

Course examination even if he/she has passed the M.B.A./M.C.A. programmes.

11. Individuals who are no longer students of the College, in which they were originally enrolledcan also apply independently for the exam. Along with the Exam form they must also providea Xerox/photocopy of their MCC ID card indicating their ID No.

12. If the candidate fails in any one of the Modular Certificate Course exams it will not affecthis/her main MBA/MCA programme in any way.

13. You can take any number of modules during a day.

14. These are Computer based Examinations. The venue for the examinations will be theCollege, where you are enrolled for MBA/MCA programme.

15. The examinations forms are available at the Sales Counter (free) at CDE, OU or areavailable for downloading from our website: www.oucde.ac.in in the Downloads.
