Remove clear panels on composite structures and clean off all mold, dirt, etc. 3. Remove all existing engineered wood fiber and play sand. Dispose of off site. 4. Replace straight slide and view panel per the Plans. 5. Excavate sandplay area and install drainage stone per the Plan and Detail. 6. Replace clear view panel with new. Replace cracked slide with new - model # Repair thermoplastic coating of composite structurestairs and platforms

Remove panels, clean mold & dirt on both surfaces andreinstall panels.

The folllowing photos show the (typ) dirt and mold onthe playground equipment and site furniture.Powerwash all play equipment and site furituresurfaces.

Repair areas on the metal play equipment where rustedor worn; sand, prepare and apply primer and paint withcolor matched GameTime® paint.

PLAYGROUND SEALING NOTES:1. Clean existing EPDM wear mat by gently powerwashing to remove all dirt and debris. Let surfacedry for at least 24 hours before applying seal coat.

Note: A water source is not available in proximityto the project site. The Contractor is responsible forproviding a water storage tank. Coordinate withthe Park System to fill the tank at the Parkmaintenance facility.

2. Seal all existing areas of wear surface withMistabond H3602 aliphatic moisture curerefinishing and repair coat. Spray or roll at a rateof one one (1) galon per 150 square feet.

3. Existing EPDM wear mat shall be sealedusing Mistabond H3602 aliphatic moisturecure refinishing and repair coat. Spray at arate of one (1) gallon per 150 square feet.

PLAYGROUND SURFACING NOTES:1. Carefully revove all existing EPDM wear mat from existing SBRbase.

2. Access into the playground area is limited. Use hand equipmentand wheel barrows to remove the existing poured-in-place rubber.

3. Vacuum off all loose SBR particles and debris from base.

4. Repair recycled rubber base mat in areas where it may havebeen damaged during EPDM removal.

5. Key all edges of proposed wear mat into the existing SBR basemat (see detail).

6. Apply binder tack coat to entire play surfacing at a rate of 5gallons per 300 square feet. Apply with a roller to ensure an evencoat to entire surface.

7 - Install new 12 inch EPDM/TPV wear mat per the specifications.

8 - Proved Owner with ±10 sf (.5 cf) of each EPDM dry mix and 1 pintof binder for minor future repairs.
