The Electric Vehicle Symposium & Exhibition (EVS) is the world's largest international exhibition and symposium for all fields related to Electric Vehicles (EV), such as battery electric vehicles, hybrid electric vehicles (HEV) and fuel cell vehicles (FCV). It is held under the auspices of the World Electric Vehicle Association (WEVA), with the venue rotating between North America, Europe and the Asia-Pacific. The 31st EVS will be held in Kobe, Japan in 2018, and will be hosted by the Japan Automobile Research Institute (JARI). The first EVS was held in Phoenix, USA. In Japan, EVS 13 was held in Osaka (1996) and EVS 22 in Yokohama (2006) followed by EVS 31, which will be the third time in this country. 2. EVS summary

1. What is EVS ?

The Electric Vehicle Symposium & Exhibition (EVS) is the world's largest international exhibition and

symposium for all fields related to Electric Vehicles (EV), such as battery electric vehicles, hybrid electric

vehicles (HEV) and fuel cell vehicles (FCV).

It is held under the auspices of the World Electric Vehicle Association (WEVA), with the venue rotating

2. EVS related organizations

Registration could be done at a booth in the lobby. Outside the hall some queues of people

constantly formed in front of every tent and riding point of Nissan, Mitsubishi, BMW, etc.

Available for drivers over 25 years old, with an International Driving License. Those without a

license could ride as a passenger.
