With the unique CS-Networking system we are able to successfully communicate to building management systems. MINI SPLITRANGE

Our mini split units are energy efficient and elegant, adding comfort and style to every room in your house. Keeping you warm in winter and cool in summer while operating quietly, these units will enhance your home or office and keep you comfortable year round.

Eco Aire units use inverter technology which means that the unit continuously adjusts its cooling and heating outputs according to the room temperature. This saves a great deal of energy making it 30% cheaper for you to run compared to a traditional on/off system. The inverter keeps the unit running in a very narrow band of temperature which means you stay comfortable the whole day. Start-up time is reduced by the inverter and once the desired temperature is reached the inverter monitors and maintains that temperature at a constant level.

INTERESTING FACT:Eco Aire units in heat pump phase obtain 75% of their output energy from the ambient air. This means that you only pay for 25% of the electricity it needs.

INSTALLATION TIP11

ECO AIRE WOULD LIKE TO GIVE YOU THE FOLLOWING GUIDELINES WHICH WILL ENSURE PROPER INSTALLATION OF THE UNIT.

• The maximum height difference between the indoor and outdoor units is 10m.

• No 90˚ degree elbows are allowed on the connection pipes. Only long radius elbows and they need to be minimised as far as possible.

• If the height difference between the indoor and outdoor units is over 5m, you have to install an oil trap at every 4m.

• When the outdoor unit is above the indoor unit, please refer to Fig 1 for pipe layout.

• When the outdoor and indoor units are at the same height, please refer to Fig 2.

• If the unit is used for high sensible load areas e.g. computer room etc. a condenser fan speed control must be installed.

• Please ensure that the voltage on a 220V unit does not drop below 200V at start-up of the compressor.

• Please follow Eco Aire’s commissioning checklist.

• Please notify end-user not to leave the doors and windows open for extended periods.

• Liquid and gas pipes to be insulated separately.

• Drain pipe must always run at the lowest level, see Fig 3.

• When drilling a hole through the wall, the hole must always slope to the outside to allow free flow of water to the drain, see Fig 3.

• The refrigerant and oil charge inside the unit is sufficient for a 5m connection pipe. If the pipe length is longer, both refrigerant and oil needs to be added, see table.

• For R410A please ensure that only Polyester oil is used. Keep in mind that this oil is highly hydroscopic. Therefore only a new container can be used and the system needs to be evacuated within 20 minutes from adding the oil, for at least 24 hours. Failure to do so can cause moisture in the system and failure due to high acid content.
