The Story Behind The Buying Of Full-Time License In The FSR

EVENTA SIMRACING is a virtual club for simracing enthusiasts who like to share the passion of racing.

The team is run professionally due to a vast inside experience in the real Formula 1 paddock.

The aim of the team is to build a friendly environment for petrolheads who want to have fun.

The team is owner of a full-time license in the Formula SimRacing World Championship.

Eventa is formed by a group of individuals who share the same goals of team work, perseverance and love for the game.

The team has rich history in local European championships and various world championships.

The team was founded on 20 August 2004.

Eventa drivers are well-respected for their attitude towards the game, which is why a special Order of Eventa Hall of Fame was introduced to honour the greatest contributors to the team.

There has been more than 30 drivers coming from 8 different countries who drove for Eventa and there are 13 individuals inducted into the Hall Of Fame.

The team has won a record 15 championships in Bulgaria and 2 in Belarus and is currently driving the FSR’s World Championship and Pro series.

Eventa’s target is to keep developing the team en route to a fight for the World Championship.

After a decade of rich and honourable history, Eventa takes on the challenge and goes for a great ride in the FSR.

Eventa was founded by a group of students in summer 2004. The creation of the team came as a result of deep interest and enthusiasm towards simracing.

From the very beginning The Team wanted to build an international platform that will reach people and send them our messages of teamwork, perseverance and positive attitude.

In the 10 years of our existence Eventa drivers led The Team to record-breaking sucess in various local championships. Still, Eventa’s greatest desire was to build a union that will achieve international success.

During the last 10 years Eventa members, being mostly around 13 years of age at the creation of the team, grown up to be leaders in their fields of competition, such as communications, management, IT, law, etc.

The Team is ultra rich in inside experience from the real Formula 1 and that resulted in a massive jump in the organisation, which is aiming to provide a competitive and real-like atmosphere.

Eventa is led by a group of people who want to share their individual talents in order to achieve greater results and to become part of something bigger that will travel through time and achieve success.

Many great talent has been adopted in the Eventa DNA and that is the main reason why this organization is targeting to become the prime place in international simracing.

Eventa's debut in the Formula SimRacing World Championship in 2014 came as a natural result of many years experience in the simracing and real world.

Eventa became an owner of a full-time license in the FSR due to the massive contribution by its members. That cements the foundations for another full of events period in the future of The Team.

At first, Eventa entered the FSR World Championship in 2014 with the license “on rent” offered by the International Simracing Club, which runs the FSR. It is much cheaper license and that was the first step of the journey.

The license “on rent” is a 1-year deal to participate in the FSR World Championship. That was a good solution for a start as we do not have any sponsor yet. Still, it was not what we were aiming for.

Then opportunity came to buy a full license and without too much discussion and hesitation Eventa members gathered the money and paid the price tag without any sponsor money.

It was an indescribable effort from people who many of them are not into simracing for many years but believe in the idea. The manner in which everyone agreed to give their part was amazing.

There have been more than 30 drivers racing for us during the last 10 years and The Team managed to give reason to many of them to call this thing “home” and to be willing to give of them in the name of Eventa.

There is a specific group of drivers who drove for Eventa in the past and some that are still driving who together make the soul and body of this organization.

These people gave hand for a thing they are not directly involved in at the moment. It proved that Eventa is not a materialistic thing, but pure - it is an idea.

It is the same idea of coming together as a group that gives life to this organization. To give of your own for someone to have fun and to enjoy his moments has been at the top of Eventa guys efforts.

Today, on the eve of our 10th anniversary we honor those who gave their best for the team and who practically are The Team in itself, because they embody what Eventa really stand for.

Eventa Hall-of-famers contributed for the establishment of Eventa as an owner of a full-time license in the FSR World Championship and thus provided a platform for the future of The Team.

Eventa Hall Of Fame is a special order of the greatest contributors to the team. It is a special way to honor those who gave a lot to Eventa and the simracing society.

These are people who have been, or still are, driving for Eventa. These are people with special attitude towards The Team and its main principles.

Even though many of Eventa HOFs are not directly involved with The Team’s operations of today, all of them answered when they were called to give their part for the better future of the organization.

Eventa HOFs stand for the living example of what Eventa is all about in terms of loyalty, dedication and belief in the idea. They provide the meaning of our goals to respect, be loyal and have fun.

Radoslav Radoev (BUL) was born on July 3, 1988. He is member of Eventa from the creation of the team. Radoev retired from simracing in 2006.

He participated in various local championships and is known for being part of the championship team of Eventa in Bulgarian Touring Cars back in 2005.

Radoev is one of Eventa icons, being well-known for his great love and lovely passion for the Team and the simracing in general.

RR motivated the Eventa society to establish the team and since then has always proved to be invaluable with his admiration for The Team and the game.

Mr. Radoev led by example with his great dedication to the game. He set the tone of the inner atmosphere by being always on time, always wanting to give and to provide for his teammates. His standards have been living in the team ever since he quit the scene.

Lyubomir Petkov (BUL) was born on July 27, 1985. He is member of Eventa from the creation of the team. Petkov retired from simracing in 2006.

He participated in various local championships and is known for being a holder of Bulgaria’s SuperTouring Trophy for 2006. Petkov kept the team alive in its most difficult moments. He firmly built the foundations of the team and helped Eventa to endure. LP led the team with great dedication and heart and was able to find the right pieces to put up a great organization. He found the then up-and-comer Dian Kostadinov who later became Bulgaria’s All-Time Greatest and is now leader of the FSR assault.

Mr. Petkov have always had great intuition about when to make a contribution and in all cases his moves has proven to be fundamental for the development of the team. Eight years since he last drove a car, he was again present to give it all and this time not just to save, but to raise Eventa to another level with buying the full-time license in the FSR World Championship.

Martin Nikolov (BUL) was born on April 11, 1989. He is member of Eventa from the creation of the team. Nikolov retired from simracing in 2005.

He participated in various local championships and is known for being part of the championship team of Eventa in Bulgarian Touring Cars back in 2005, also being vice-champion in 2003 Formula Simracing Championship and 2005 Bulgarian Touring Cars.

Martin always provided massive support for Eventa’s operations and has proven to be an invaluable asset to the team’s future.

Nikolov has always been there to give help and to share his experiences in order to achieve results.

MN has been a wise leader in setting the right standards for the team. He has been always there to ask for time for self-assessment which has proven to be extremely needed for the organization in order for it to endure and raise its level.

Lyubomir Stoyanov (BUL) was born on June 4, 1990. He is member of Eventa from the creation of the team. Lyubo retired from simracing in 2011.

He participated in various local championships and is known for being part of the championship team of Eventa in Bulgarian Touring Cars back in 2005.

Lyubomir is a terrific example of finding meaning in becoming a part of something bigger than you and showing that to the others. He is simply a team guy and he daily sets a great example for our team. LS embedded the team concept within the drivers by making statements when The Team needed them most. He is concrete in trusting the team and showing that it is about belief, hard work and gaining a good perspective in order to do great results in the future.

Mr. Stoyanov has always been the key to Eventa’s greatest steps in history and will hold the place for being The Team’s brain in taking all the important decisions.

Trayan Sarafov (BUL) was born on May 12, 1989. He is member of Eventa from the creation of the team. Sarafov retired from simracing in 2006.

He participated in various local championships and is known for being Bulgaria’s first simracing champion in 2003, Bulgaria’s first driver in international formula simracing in 2004 and also champion in Bulgarian Touring Cars in 2005.

Trayan led the creation of the team as a result of united effort to establish a simracing dynasty that will achieve global success.

Mr. Sarafov believed that the best leadership a team can have is a combination of one player’s strengths with those of his partners, because that’s the way you make up for one another’s weaknesses.

Todor Vasilev (BUL) was born on August 18, 1986. He is member of Eventa from 2008. Vasilev is racing occasionally in the last couple of years in various championships.

He participated in various local and international championships and is known for being Bulgaria Formula Simracing champion in 2006 and multiple Teams’ champion for Eventa in the same discipline.

He is one of the most respected simracing drivers in Bulgaria and Eventa.

Todor is one of the first to motivate the team to go international and to try international championship.

Mr. Vasilev holds place in Eventa history for being one of the most knowledgeable guys in terms of setting up the cars and also for providing the much appreciated and needed support when The Team is in need of him.

Dian Kostadinov (BUL) was born on August 14, 1991. He is member of Eventa from 2006. Kostadinov is an active driver of Eventa Simracing

He participated in various local and international championships and is known for being Bulgaria’s All-Time Greatest simracer. He has numerous achievements, one of them being a record 4-time Bulgaria Simracing Champion and Bulgaria’s first ever points-scorer in the FSR.

Kostadinov is Eventa’s most definitive icons, being first in everything he does. He is known for being a true leader, unselfish, sharing and always thinking about The Team.

Dian is the best one to have in a team by being a team-player, super simracer, great motivator and a friendly person.

Mr. Kostadinov is Eventa’s and Bulgaria’s greatest star and is the solid stone foundation of The Team’s future.

You now know the leaders that are behind this organization and you know why they are doing it.

Ever since Eventa has been founded it has always been a place where strong individuals meet trying to accomplish a greater result than they can do on their own.

Still, we never wanted an individual to be so deferential to the team concept that they lose the part of their individual ego that makes them great. On our team we wanted to find the right mix of sacrifice and self-assurance that would allow each one of our guys to become Superman, be it in simracing or real life.

Our greatest desire continues to be to develop a great platform for strong individuals who want to be inspired and to inspire tomorrow.

Eventa is a friendly environment for people who want to have fun and self-develop.

We made this vital step to buy a full-time license in the FSR World Championship in order to set a solid foundation for the future of this organization.

We constantly analyze what are our weaknesses and what the competition does better. We also take time to determine where we find our competitive advantage. What are the things that our team can do better than the opposition?

Over the past ten years we gave a solid answer to that question – people from different backgrounds have come together united for one idea that is not materialistic, but pure – to be part of something bigger.

Eventa is part of all of us – it is our vision of the world – you have to be yourself, you have to share and you have to believe that it is within us what we are trying to reach. We just have to share it with our friends.

And this is just a small part of what Our Team really is.
