One Day Workshop on ‘LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT’ Organized by Department of Student Affairs, GHRCEM, Pune
Department of Student Affairs, GHRCEM has conducted one day workshop on
LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT for college student leaders (CR, LR, ISTE, Cultural, Sports
and Association Presidents) on 4/9/2014.
The workshop was inaugurated by Advocate, Abhay Jagtap, Law Officer, D.Y.
Patil University and Vice Principal Mr. Pravin Matte, GHRCEM. The workshop was
conducted in three sessions. In first session, Adv. Abhay Jagtap, presented the issues
regarding elimination of ragging from all colleges & Universities in various aspects. In
the second session, Mr. Shashank(Art of Living) spoke about how to be a success in life
by practicing Art of Living. He emphasized on various aspect of mind controlled by
spirituality, information control, thought control, emotion control, behavior control
and friendship control to introduce new techniques to get rid of daily stress by self-
recovery with the help mediation. In the third session, he conducted mind games to
better control of day to day activities.
Total 110 student leaders were benefited from this workshop. The programmed
was successful with the help of Sandesh Deshmukh (Student Secretary) Rushikesh
Pachor, Vijay Ghodeka,and Vivek Singh, BhorAjit, MehulSethia, Sachin Mote, Sangita
Singh and Geeta Dhalgade, organized by Mr.R.V.Suryawanshi, Dean of Student affairs.
