structure being saw-

The Towers
• Structural demolition
of Grant Thornton
House commenced
in early July
• One Euston Square
in early August.
• Demolition is due to
complete mid-2020.

Ibis Hotel
• The Ibis has been
demolished,
• The site is now
processing material
from the tower
demolitions.
• This will remove
around 600 lorry
movements.
St James’s Gardens
• The first section of archaeological excavations is complete and
the tent structure that shielded the works has been removed.
• Archaeological excavations will continue under Cardington
Street and up to the Thistle boundary wall.
• These works will also need to be shielded from public view.
Thistle Hotel
• Demolition is
progressing well.
• Demolition is due to
complete in
November 2019.

North Gower Street utilities North Gower Street utilities – Utilities works between Drummond Street
and Stephenson Way
• Phase one: 21 October to 15 November - Southbound lane, between the
junctions of Drummond Street and Euston Street.
• Phase two: 18 November to 13 December - Northbound lane, between
the junctions of Drummond Street and Euston Street.
• Phase three: 16 December to 31 January 2020 – Southbound lane
between the junctions of Euston Street and Stephenson Way.
• Phase four: 2 February to 28 February 2020 – Northbound lane between
the junctions of Euston Street and Stephenson Way.
North Gower Street – utility works between Hampstead Road and
Starcross Street
• Phase one: 21 November to 20 December – between the junctions of
Hampstead Road and Starcross Street.
• Phase two: 6 January to 16 January – Between Starcross Street and the
junction with Drummond Street.
Eversholt Street 16’’ water main relining
• Thames Water need to carry out further
works on the water main on Eversholt
Street – starting 14 October (3 week
closure)
• HS2 works to reline the Thames Water
main on Eversholt Street will follow only
once the Thames Water work is
successfully completed
• The HS2 works are estimated to start
around the beginning of November
