STEERING WHEEL

50 mm vertical regulation of the steering wheel.

Steering column stalk behind the steering wheel.On all vehicles with ZF automated gearbox, the steering column stalk is utilized for the gear changing in semi-automatic driving.

The steering column has been moved in a more central position (30mm more in comparison with the Eurocargo Euro4/5 steering positioning).

CENTRAL MODULE

Front axle differential lock, available only for 4x4 models as option CCP 1131.

The new central module is located in the same position as before but it has got smaller dimensions.

24/12V convertor (10,5A), available as option CCP 6531.Cross axle differential lock,

available as option CCP 131 on all 4x2 models (standard on 4x4 models).

The hand brake is positioned ahead on the central tunnel in order to achieve better ergonomics from the driver's point of view.

The central module is provided with two pockets as standard configuration.When ordering axle differential locks (CCP 131 and/or CCP 1131) only the rear pocket is provided on the central module.



DOOR PANEL

New designed door panel in plastic material, with ergonomic door handle / armrest.

New control for the door opening to be activated with the thumb.

The electric windows are standard on all vehicles and controlled through the keyboard positioned on the door handle.Note: Manual windows are not available on Eurocargo M.Y.2008 Range.

The heated electric mirrors, available on all models as option CCP 2714, are now controlled through the keyboard positioned on the door handle.

Big pocket on door panel, where a water bottle 2 litres can be contained.



SINGLE SEATS

Please Note: Headrests and seat belts are standard and already included on all new static and pneumatic single seats.

New standard pneumatic and static single seats, with new textures and with integrated headrest and seat belts.

Dark grey background with light grey drawings onthe two sides of the seat.

Manual Gearboxes

* 6 speed gearboxes are available along the entire range, from 140 to 300 HP engine models.

Automated Gearboxes

* ZF 6S1000 gearbox with integrated PTO NL/10 is available on 4x4 models range.* All manual gearboxes are overdrive (TO), except for 9S-75 TD (direct drive) on all 180-220 HP engine models with 9 speed gearbox.

INTRODUCTION

On Eurocargo M.Y.2008 Range, the oil maintenaince interval is 2÷4 fold the current one.

ZF GEARBOXES LUBRICATION OIL

On Eurocargo M.Y.2008 Range, the lubrication of all ZF manual and automated gearboxes is made

ZF-ECOFLUID M is a semisynthetic oil that allows maintainance intervals of 300.000 Km.

The ZC90 oil has to be changed every 80.000 ÷ 160.000 Km, depending on the engine power.

with ZF-ECOFLUID M oil.

On all automated gearbox vehicles, the dashboard is provided with the following 3 additional switches (D, N, R), necessary for the

* Reverse Mode R: reverse gear engaged / clutch closing and opening automatically

* Driving Mode D: driving gears engaged / clutch closing and opening automatically

When keeping clicked D or R button for 2 seconds, manoeuvring mode is activated, in order to obtain low speed driving (approach manoeuvres). In semi-automatic mode it is necessary to pull the control stalk to gear up and to push it to gear down.

(clicking D button, it is possible to pass from automatic to semi-automatic driving, and viceversa)

(when leaving the vehicle, Neutral Mode N should always be selected)

Please Note:

* Neutral Mode N: gearbox toothing in neutral position, no gears engaged

automated gearbox management:

When semi-automatic driving mode is activated, the gears are directly chosen by the driver through the right steering column control stalk.

ZF 6 SPEED GEARBOXES AUTOMATED VERSION

On Eurocargo Model Year 2008 Range the following 6 speed manual gearboxes are available:

The automated gearbox versions are identified by the letter "A" inside the gearbox commercial name.




6 SPEED AUTOMATED GEARBOXES LAYOUT In order to obtain the automated version, the 6 speed manual gearboxes are provided with the Power Pack.The Power Pack layout and components are shown below:

The TCU calculates the vehicle mass, the requested torque and the accelerator pedal request and communicates the correct gear to be selected

Please Note: The pentosyn oil is utilized only for the cylinders actuation, and not for the gearbox toothing lubrication.

All the actuations are hydraulic and they are done with the pentosyn oil.The Transmission Actuator is provided with two actuator cylinders (respectively for the gear shifting and for the gear selecting). (to the Transmission Actuator) and the clutch opening / closing cycles (to the Clutch Actuator).
