Objetivo Análisis de la Incidencia de Trombosis de
Stent
El analisis incluyó todos los pacientes del HORIZONS-AMI que recibieron stent, sin importar el tipo (DES o BMS ) (n=3203)
Los autores observaron ST n=107 (3.3%) a 12 meses, con clasificación ARC realizada por un evaluador independiente.

Conclusiones
En el estudio Horizons , la Trombosis de Stent ocurrió: Durante las primeras 24 horas (0.9%) De 1 a 30 días (1.6%) De 1 mes a 1 año (1.0%) } – 3.3% en total a 1 año
No hubo diferencias por el tipo de stent (BMS o DES)
El uso de HNF disminuyó los eventos agudos
Mayor incidencia de ST aguda (especialmente en las primeras 5 hs) en el grupo Bivalirudina
El uso de 600 mg de Clopidogrel atenúa la incidencia de eventos subagudos (día 1 a 30 )

Outcome of Non-cardiac Surgical Procedure and Brief Interruption of Dual Anti-platelet Agents within 12 Months
Following ENdeavorTM Stent (Zotarolimus-eluting Stent) Implantation (SENS):
a Multicenter Study
El estudio SENS es un análisis retrospectivo realizado en Corea, donde 11 centros analizaron a 3099 pacientes que debieron ser intervenidos quirúrgicamente por patologías no cardiacas.
El end point primario a 30 días de la intervención fue de eventos adversos mayores (MACE), incluyendo la Muerte, el Infarto no fatal, y el TLR.
Dependiendo del momento de la cirugía, los pacientes fueron divididos en 2 grupos:
Cirugía Temprana: Hasta 3 meses luego de la intervención
Cirugía Tardía: De 3 a 12 meses luego de la intervención
Los autores concluyen que este stent puede ser utilizado con seguridad, pudiendo los pacientes someterse a cirugías no cardíacas luego de 3 meses del implante.

La posibilidad de vincular la base de datos NCDR demuestra que es posible y que la información es robusta
Comparación de la evolución de DES y BMS a 30m:
• Sin mayores preocupaciones por los DES
• Baja tasa de infarto y de muerte en los pacientes DES
• Menor tasa de revascularización y de sangrado
• Indices similares de ACV
