Estonian Radio Frequency Allocation Plan

1

Approved by Decree of the Minister of Transport and Communications on 31 March 2000/No.19 (updated on 3 August 2000/No.62)

ESTONIAN RADIO FREQUENCY ALLOCATION PLAN

Explanatory notes to the use of Radio Frequency Allocation Plan 1. For the purposes of this Plan, the method of use of radio frequency band defines the general conditions for

frequency use (duplex-/simplex operation, channel arrangements, general restrictions e.g. maximum output power).

2. For the purposes of this Plan, the purpose of use of radio frequency band defines the frequency sharing between the different radio communication services (see clause 9).

3. For the purposes of this Plan, the regime of use of radio frequency band defines the categories for frequency use (primary or secondary).

4. The service of primary category, which can claim a protection from harmful interference from stations of other service, is printed in capitals.

5. The service of secondary category, which shall not cause harmful interference to stations of primary service and cannot claim a protection from harmful interference from stations of another services, is printed in normal characters.

6. Governmental use type 1 indicates the exclusive use of frequency band by the Defence Forces in peaceful time for state defence in accordance with technical requirements established by Minister of Defence.

7. Governmental use type 2 indicates the radio frequency bands for general use by the Defence Forces in peaceful time for state defence.

8. The Radio Frequency Allocation Plan does not exclude in special case the use of radio frequency channel by the Defence Forces outside of frequency bands determined in the clauses 6 and 7 under the specified procedure for these radio frequency bands.

9. Conformities of Estonian and English terms related to use of radio frequency bands used in Radio Frequency Allocation Plan:
