Abortion and Adoption
Did you know that one baby is aborted every 26 seconds around the world?
Currently it is a reality in many countries, however, while some babies die, others have the
possibility of survival through adoption. Adoption is an individual decision which is made
for several reasons, such as the loss of a baby or biological impossibility from the parents.
Independently of what we think about both decisions, it is itself crucial and able to change
your life and your perception of it.
These decisions can produce different feelings. In abortion, the most common and
usual feelings are guilt and shame, principally because abortion is seen as a bad practice by
many people due to different cultures, religions and beliefs. On the other hand, we have
feelings of happiness and joy which make that your live feel in plenitude. It is certainly true
that new parents are the happiest with their decision, because it provides a new meaning in
their lives and eventually it makes a big change.
There are two important points to stand out if we think of the baby. The first one is
that in abortion, actually kills a baby, the opportunity to be parent and a wonderful
experience of the life. In contrast to the adoption, where there is the opportunity of giving
life expectancy, love and care to a new person in this world, as well as well, the expectation
and think about the future of the baby, involving dreams, hopes and planning.
Finally, there is a similarity. Both are decisive decisions that anyone could make at
any moment of their lives. It is in this way, that in deciding to have abortion is important to
be extremely sure about it, or otherwise it could be a tragic final, making this something
that will never be forgotten. It is impossible to turn back time to repair the errors made. It is
in this conception that we have a similarity that lies in the decision due to the fact that it
changes life not importing what will be the result, both change the horizon.
From the information given, it is important to understand that in different
circumstances people need to make decisions about the future of their lives and the lives of
children. Both are different points of view on how we make decisions in the new lives of
this world. We are ephemerals in this world and I think that we could give a chance,
because we do not know who the future person that we are killing is.
