La Casa—Group Project— Step 1—Due Thursday
• Each group will be given large sheet of paper to design, to draw, to color, and to label your dream house or apartment in Spanish. Your house should have a minimum of 5 rooms. The picture should fill the page. Labels need to be big and legible. This may be a cutaway view or a Birdseye view floorplan. This will be a continuing project with multiple steps.(The final step will be selling your house or describing it for a home improvement magazine-your group will be interviewed and will answer questions from the class)
• Today, choose your groups. Write down group members names and turn in the list. We will draw tomorrow.
Reading Assessment
• You will receive a short article to read and to answer some comprehension questions.
• You will use previous knowledge, cognates, and context to read and understand the article.
