WHAT PLANET/S CAN WE LIVE IN?

WHY AND HOW?

The planet’s atmosphere is mostly made up of Carbon Dioxide (CO2) that is beneficial for plants. Carbon Dioxide is one of the components that carry on the process of Photosynthesis. In return the plants excrete Oxygen for animals.

We could also get water from the polar ice caps. Not all material coming from the ice caps are frozen Carbon Dioxide. There may be a small chance that there may be frozen freshwater.

By planting many trees, plants, and other organisms that breathe carbon Dioxide, oxygen will gradually increase, and animals can live on Mars if there is already enough Oxygen.

Kepler 22b

WHY?

-The planet is mostly ocean. So, there is a possibility that life can exist on Kepler 22b.-It also revolves around a sun-like star, but slightly cooler.-It is within the habitable zone of the star Kepler 22.

PROBLEMS

-Scientists still don’t know if the planet is all solid, liquid, or gaseous.

-If the Carbon cycle on the planet stops due to lack of oceans and plate tectonics, it may become a steaming super-Venus.

Gliese 581d

WHY?

-It is within the habitable zone of the star Gliese 581-Liquid water may exist on this planet.-It may have a stable atmosphere

PROBLEMS

-It is too large to be made entirely of rock material

-The planet may be too cold. The intensity of light from Gliese 581 to Gliese 581d is equivalent to only 30 % of the intensity of sunlight received by Earth from the sun. By comparison, sunlight on Mars is about 40 % of the intensity of sunlight on Earth.

-It is tidally-locked, meaning one side will receive forever light, while the other side unending darkness.

WHY?

-The temperature may be 24.138 ⁰C (74 ⁰F)

-If it has 50 % cloud cover, it may support liquid water.

PROBLEMS

-There is a possibility that it is tidally locked.

UFO’s and Aliens

Are they real? Or not?

First of all… WHAT IS A UFO?

An unidentified flying object, often abbreviated UFO or U.F.O., is an unusual apparent anomaly in the sky that is not readily identifiable to the observer as any known object.

There are many reports of UFO’s all over the

world.

That Includes the PHILIPPINES

There have been reports about Flying Saucers, Rods, Black Triangles, Bright Spots, and other weird objects hovering in the sky for a couple of minutes, and immediate vanishing have been observed.

An example is the 2000 Las Pinas UFO Incident…

A businessman named Antonio Israel captured, on film, a number of UFOs over Las Piñas, Philippines. Israel says that the video details "up to 12 balls [of light] bouncing in the clear night." The film was taken with a handycam and, though the entire video has not been released, Israel provided The Philippine Star with stills from the video.

There have been horrible harassments or encounters with “people” with characteristics not

humane.

An example is the Kelly-Hopkinsville encounter…

The seven people present in the farmhouse claimed that they were terrorized by an unknown number of creatures similar to gremlins, which have since often been referred to as the "Hopkinsville Goblins" in popular culture. The residents of the farmhouse described them as around three feet tall, with upright pointed ears, thin limbs (their legs were said to be almost in a state of atrophy), long arms and claw-like hands or talons. The creatures were either silvery in color, or wearing something metallic. Their movements on occasion seemed to defy gravity with them floating above the ground and appearing in high up places, and they "walked" with a swaying motion as though wading through water. Although the creatures never entered the house, they would pop up at windows and at the doorway, working up the children in the house to a hysterical frenzy.

There have been unexplained dissappearances of prominent people. Victims are usually pilots sighting unusual aircraft while maneuvering the plane, and ships with all the crew found dead or missing.

An example is the disappearance of Frederick Valentich…

The Valentich disappearance refers to the unexplained disappearance on 21 October 1978 of 20-year-old Frederick Valentich while piloting a Cessna 182L light aircraft over Bass Strait in Australia. He intended to land at King Island to pick up three or four friends and return to Moorabbin Airport.[1]

During the 127-mile (235 km) flight, Valentich advised Melbourne air traffic control that he was being accompanied by an aircraft about 1,000 feet (300 m) above him.[2] He described some unusual actions and features of the aircraft, saying that his engine had begun running roughly, and finally reported that the "strange aircraft is hovering on top of me again. It is hovering and it's not an aircraft.”Valentich and his aircraft were never found, and an Australian Department of Transport investigation concluded that the reason for the disappearance could not be determined.

Another example is the fate of the Ourang Medan (June 1947)

According to the story, at some point in or around June 1947 (Gaddis and others list the approximate date as early February 1948), two American vessels navigating the Strait of Malacca, the City of Baltimore and the Silver Star, among others, picked up distress messages from Dutch merchant ship Ourang Medan. A radio operator aboard the troubled vessel reported the deaths of the ship's captain as well as all of its officers, and possibly the entire crew, before sending out further garbled messages and finally declaring himself in dying condition with the words "I die". When the Silver Star crew located and boarded the apparently undamaged Ourang Medan in a rescue attempt, the ship was found littered with corpses (including the carcass of a dog) in what appeared to be terrified postures, with no survivors and no visible signs of injuries on the dead bodies. A fire then broke out in the ship's cargo hold, forcing the boarding parties to evacuate the Dutch freighter, thus preventing any further investigation. Soon after, the Ourang Medan was observed to explode and sink.

There have been horrible cattle mutilations.

An example is the mutilation of Lady/Snippy

On September 7 of that year, Agnes King and her son Harry noted that Lady, a three-year-old horse, had not returned to the ranch at the usual time for her water. This was unusual, given the heat and the arid conditions.Harry found Lady on September 9. Her head and neck had been skinned and defleshed, the bones were white and clean. To King, the cuts on Lady seemed to have been very precise. There was no blood at the scene, according to Harry, and there was a strong medicinal odor in the air.The next day, Harry and Agnes returned to the scene with Agnes’ brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Berle Lewis. They found a lump of skin and horse flesh; when Mrs. Lewis touched it, the flesh oozed a greenish fluid which burned her hand. They also reported the discovery of fifteen "tapering, circular exhaust marks punched into the ground" over an area of some 5000 square yards. (Saunders and Harkins, 156) The medicinal odor had weakened somewhat, but was still present.

Mrs. Lewis contacted the United States Forest Service, and Ranger Duane Martin was sent to investigate. Among other tasks, Martin "checked the area with a civil defense Geiger counter. He reported finding a considerable increase in radioactivity about two city blocks from the body." (Saunders and Harkins, 157) Later, Martin would state, "The death of this saddle pony is one of the most mysterious sights I’ve ever witnessed ... I’ve seen stock killed by lightning, but it was never like this." (ibid., 159)After trying to interest other authorities with little success, Mrs. Lewis turned to her professional connections: she wrote occasionally for the Pueblo Chieftain. Her account of Lady's strange death was published in that newspaper, and was picked up by the Associated Press on October 5, 1967. Soon, much of the United States knew the tale of Lady’s death, and other reports of similar phenomena in Colorado emerged.That same day, an account by Superior Court Judge Charles E. Bennett of Denver, Colorado, saw publication. Bennett and his wife claimed to have witnessed “three reddish-orange rings in the sky. They maintained a triangular formation, moved at a high speed, and made a humming sound.” (Saunders and Harkins, 157) The civilian UFO research group NICAP became involved in the case as well, and some people speculated that UFOs were somehow involved with Snippy’s death.

So the question is…ARE UFO’s REAL???

UNKNOWN.

We still don’t have enough information to solve the mysteries of the unknown floating objects hovering in the sky, or the mysteries related to them. If they are real, why do they cause those misfortunes? If no, why do we make such stories? Everything has a reason, but we don’t know all of those reasons.
