The high-precision gantry measuring machine is optimally inte-
grated into the flexible EROWA manufacturing concept. With
stable axes on air bearings and centrally positioned drives, the
mechanical accuracy is striking even in the event of tempera-
ture variations.
State-of-the-art air bearings support
the most delicate movements.
Thanks to their standard hole pattern,
EROWA tooling systems can be moun-
ted directly on the granite slab.
The symmetry of the whole machine has
a positive effect on accuracy.
The centrally positioned axis drives allow
for symmetrical movements on both
sides.

During “normal measuring”, only individual
points are measured. With scanning, large
data volumes are captured. This results in
substantially more detailed information about
the form and shape of the workpiece.
Scanning is used when free-form geometries
have to be captured and checked within a
short period of time or when great demands
are made on the evaluation of shape devia-
tions.
