Getting Started
Responsible for maintaining all other User Types for their
organization. Registered in ERA by DRS. Access to Services varies by User. Authorized to
create Employer Contacts and Information Only Contacts for your organization.

Contact has access to ERA Portal. Access to Services varies by user and is granted by the

Employer Reporting Process
• Save & Continue- Saves the information and Edit Member screen is displayed to continue entering information
for the same member
• Validate- Edits the information against system edits. These edits will be displayed on the current Edit
Member screen to continue entering information for the same member
• Remove- Removes the person from the current report only upon submit. Manage Member screen is
displayed as if user were starting over
• Save & Return- Saves the information and Manage Member’s screen is displayed to continue with another
member

Each agency’s payroll is now responsible for handling rejected DCP records
• Fixing errors and resubmitting data
• Reviewing warning and default messages
Employers will have access to more member information

HRMS corrections can be submitted once the original report case is closed.

Common reject issues and resolution:
• Break in service / Early deferrals – DCP record in HRMS is from a prior employment or keyed manuallyDRS will move the funds Payroll will refund member next payrollNo correction report is needed
• Separation date fed in error – deferrals rejected due to an incorrect term date at DRSDRS must remove the bad dataPayroll must resubmit the records via a correction report
• Transfer prior to Auto Enroll Begin date –Payroll must resubmit the records with a begin date via a correction report
