Equal Opportunity for Equal Opportunity for SuccessSuccess
SR’s Problem # 4SR’s Problem # 4Review the current status of Virginia’s accountability program and graduation requirements. Describe the current requirements, the “interim” requirements, and the final requirements as now mandated by the Virginia Board of Education. You are to develop a program and curriculum that addresses students who fail to complete these requirements. You must also take into account the issue of AYP as defined by the NCLB legislation to assure that the school utilizing this curriculum has the best chance of maintaining its AYP. Be sure to include reference to our text in terms of your belief of the model used or theory found in the development of the federal NCLB legislation.
