Expression of Interest - IT Consultancy Services for Digital Transformation
Company Profile
United India Insurance Co. Ltd is a leading Non-Life Insurance Company wholly owned byGovernment of India and in the business of underwriting Non-life Insurance. The Company has anetwork of 2080 offices across the country and issues almost 2 crores policy documents everyyear for 200+ non-life insurance products.
Reguirement
UIIC with its aim to become market leaders in technology advancement in insurance space isseeking the services of a Consultancy firm to assist UIIC in designing the IT Strategy. identifyingand selecting both the Enterprise IT systems and System Integrators necessary to meet itsbusiness needs and to fulfill the technology requirements in the Digital Transformation.
Broadly. scope of work for this EO! consists of the following:
• Drafting the Digital Transformation Strategy.• Assistance in RFP Preparation and Vendor Selection.• Attendance at Board Meetings.• Change Management Workshops /Meetings/Transformation strategy.• Project Management Consultancy that shall broadly cover the following areas
and not limited to :./ Change Request effort estimation ../ Hardware Refresh./ Network Upgrade./ Portals &Website Redesigning./ Mobile Platform./ Social Media Integration./ Telemarketing./ IPV6 Compliance./ Information Security & ISO Certification./ Cloud Technology Adoption
Process of Submission
Interested service providers or authorized representatives of service provider are requested tosubmit their Expression of Interest (EOI). which should have the following sections:
1. Name and background of the vendor covering overall profile of technical proficiency.

2. An overview of the services proposed to be provided and the process of its delivery.3. Supporting Documentations for Eligibility Criteria point wise and properly indexed.
Eligibility Criteria
1. The respondent must be a Government Organization/PSU IPSE/partnership firrrr/Ll.P orlimited company existing in India.
2. The respondent must be in existence for five years as on date of the RFP (in case ofmergers/acquisition/restructuring or name change, the date of establishment of theearlier/original Partnership Firm/Limited Company can be taken in to account).
3. The respondent must have a minimum turnover of at least Rs. 200 crore each in the pastthree years i.e. 2012-13, 2013-14 and 2014 -15.
4. The respondent should have a positive Net worth in at least 2 out of last 3 years i.e.2012-13,2013-14 and 2014 -15.
5. The respondent should have experience in performing Core solution consultancy for oneGeneral Insurance Company in India in last 5 years. Completed or on-going projectswould be considered.
6. The respondent should have experience in providing Bid process management andProject Management consultancy for at least one BFSI organization having multipleinitiatives executed at the same time in India in last 5 years. Completed or on-goingprojects would be considered.
7. The respondent should not have been blacklisted by Central/any State Government /PSU's as on the date of bid submission
Disqualification
United India Insurance, may at its own sole discretion and at any time during the EOI process,disqualify any applicant from the EOI process, if the Applicant has:
A. Submitted the response for EOI after the deadline.B. Made misleading or false representations in the forms, statements and attachments
submitted in proof of the eligibility requirements.C. Exhibited a record of poor performance such as abandoning works, not properly
completing the contract, inordinately delaying information.D. Information which would have entitled UIIC to reject or disqualify the applicant, after
the applicant has been qualified, UIIC reserves the right to reject the applicant at thattime or at any time after such information becomes known.
E. Applicants, who are found to canvas, influence or attempt to influence in any manner thequalification or selection process, including without limitation, by offering bribes orother illegal gratification shall be disqualified from the process at any stage.
United India Insurance Co. Ltd reserves the right to accept or reject in full/part of Expression ofInterest submitted by the firm without assigning any reason thereof and no correspondenceshall be entertained in this regard.
