Preposition A preposition is a word invariable which connects a noun

or pronoun complement (ie a different name, a verb or a noun).Example: to, among, around, ...".

une préposition est un mot invariable qui relie un nom ou un pronom à un complément (c'est à dire un autre nom, un verbe, ou un groupe nominal).

Exemple: jusqu'à, entre, vers, ...".

Prepositions of movement can be used to show direction.

Preposition of Movement:

Through – from one point to another. ( - d'un point à un autre.)

Around – in a circular way. ( Autour de - d'une manière circulaire.)

Along – to pass the length of something. (Along - passer le long de quelque chose.)

Towards – in the direction of something. (Vers - dans le sens de quelque chose)
