ENT Primary Care Surgical Skills Course in Micro suction and Nasal Packing Designed for General Practitioners and Practice Nurses. CPD, CEU accredited The course will be delivered in 1 session between February and May 2018, of 6.5 hours duration, scheduled to take place 10.00 am - 16.30 pm in three sites Dublin, Waterford and Sligo. The Royal Victoria Eye and Ear Hospital (RVEEH) Dublin site session dates are:- RVEEH - Saturday 10th February & Saturday 10 th March 2018 (select one session) The learning format: Blended learning course Learning module covering core knowledge elements Program of Clinical Skills Workshops delivered in 3 centres Dublin, Waterford, Sligo Focus on skills training and skills transfer Satisfactory completion subject to practical evaluation of skills performance under supervision & Submission of 20 Reflective practice papers Key outcomes include practical demonstration of ability to perform ear micro suction and nasal packing, relevant to the treatment of impacted wax, otitis externa and epistaxis. Completion of course qualifies CPD points and CME Credits and credentialing in the procedures of micro suction and nasal packing from the NCPS RCSI.
